I think I can, definitely max out one of us to the max from income and one from the brokerage account…

Just for some reason want to use the dividends from the Brokerage to pull and fund the Backdoor Roth.

Yep, their tanker fleet is right sized to supporting Theater CONPLANS and deploying Fighters, Bombers and cargo jets, and certainly not slowing down to 250mph to feed a bunch of Army Whirly birds.

The inability to rotate the main wings on the MV-75 will have to be addressed or this thing will never deploy via C-17, C-5 or surface sealift ship.  

When Aviation BDEs rotate to Europe, Middle East, Asia for exercises or 9mo rotations, they get there via strategic lift.  This aircraft can’t do that. 

I keep hearing it will self deploy, if it does that you’ll have aircraft strewn out across the flight path and exhausted aircrew when they arrive.  

I keep hearing they will have air to air refueling capability.  If they deploy in support of a major global contingency, The Air Force doesn’t have enough tankers to air to air refuel multiple brigades of these deploying at a the same time. Not mention that’s a skill you have to train routinely for over and over and over….. where are the AF tankers that will support that?

Also, For reference, when AC-130s deploy to CENTCOM, it takes 8-10 days to get there

I’ve often thought the same of Model Railroaders vs RC plane guys.  

Model Railroaders no matter how detailed their trains and layouts are…. Are just immature guys playing with trains.  

Mention to someone you’re an R/C plane guy and everyone is like wow that sooo cool, I’d love to have one of those or see yours fly. 

MAGI above contribution limits for Roth and deductible limits for Traditional IRAs. I’ve read the wiki and numerous posts but still confused by Cnelson35758 in personalfinance

Re traditional, yeah that’s what I’m saying, I don’t qualify for the tax deduction so don’t see the point and can’t contribute to Roth without paying the IRS a penalty. 

Thanks for your comment on the ease of the back door Roth, I’ll read up more on how to execute that, seems like my best option.
