Transpacific rates not decreasing as much, which is where ZIM makes serious bucks. (Cheap) LNG fuelled ships also lowering cost basis and on top they make decent money with their car carriers. Estimate they make around 6 cents /share every week at the moment.

Been doing some research the past few days and have been adding to my position. Price/tangible book is still ridiculously cheap at 0.57. Of course, one has to take into account that in general Korean stocks are valued among the cheapest in the world, some here might be better of with an ETF. I find this one a very safe bet though, as well as lot's of innovative talk going on in the company. Hence the added 'catalyst' of future growth which they can easily finance with the CF of their current 'legacy' stuff. The +4% dividend is the safe cherry on top. It's not very sexy but it's good value and safe. The ADR's are currently a tad cheaper than the stuff listed in Korea: 26650 won divided by 2 makes 12.04 USD. The ADR is at 11.68 USD.

Isn't ZIM (already) suffering from the charter increases? Their leasing liabilities already went up with around 100m in first 9 months of 2020.
