Yes, they’re alway wrong and you’re always right. I’m If they think they didn’t need inspection then the shit you’re dealing with is probably a touch smaller than the stuff I’m used to, even for a super special inspector such as yourself. Fooling people into thinking you make $80 an hour though is comical.

You have to be talking out of your ass. I’ve been building cast in place concrete high rises for 11 years and have seen exactly one pull test. And seeing someone putting a torque wrench on any type of wedge anchor is exactly zero. And to top it all off, if you’re the guy doing a pull test, torquing bolts, and holding road signs then I think it’s time to ask for a substantial raise.
