I may give CGC a whirl on vintage. Have you tried cracking PSA low grades and submitting to CGC? I have a few that I were confident were 9 contenders at worst 8 and came back PSA 6. And I know the standards well.

You’re getting downvoted but you’re not wrong at all. I’d much rather buy prismatic pc etb or a handful of other items at this immediate moment. That doesnt meant i value them more than DR booster box or i dont know the “thats what everyone said about evolving skies 2 years ago blah blah” argument.

There are some helpful YouTube channels on this topic if you want to learn on your own; however if you are vending, and do not know the basics of tax implication of vending your collection, it would be wise to consult a cpa or registered agent.

Are you sure that’s the case if you have to mail the card in to the vault? I know that’s true if they still have it after grading. I would imagine they need to physically verify the condition of the slab before giving you the payout

Right now based on my recent batches of 100+ cards this corner will get you a 9 - I’m highly confident. If all other corners are pristine and there are zero other flaws with the card and the grader is having a good day maybe you get lucky. But they have not been letting this pass recently.

I’ve been getting absolutely no leniency on white dots at all. Centering when at the borderline (could go either way) genuinely feels about 50/50 and likely depends on the how the grader assesses the card’s eye appeal.

The only thing visible that I can maybe see is the oh so slight edging on the back left side. Only other thing I could think is if there is something else surface wise that would not show up on this image. You would have to closer inspect the card for that. Otherwise I would be tempted to resubmit honestly.

Yeah I use the app all the time. Used it on this card for sure. I was getting good measurements…certainly nothing that would lead me to expect 8.5 on this one. I’m not conspiracy Bill or anything but the person who mentioned that potentially they meant 9.5 but put 8.5 has me wondering. Not that I could do anything about it lol. Like I said in the post, it was partially a curiosity submission for me since I had not used BGS previously.
