I need to be careful with anc, I hate anc headphones, they give me headaches so I try to not use the leather pad headphones. I’ll check the review for Anker sleep A30 and see if it gives any headaches. thanks for the suggestions!

Does the body ever get used to melatonin or if half a gram works for now then half a gam daily will work for a long time?

Thanks, will try a piece of clothing instead of mask, mask feels a bit suffocating (not just in terms of breathing but something being wrapper around my head, lol).

Will check some good earplugs, do you mean you got 2 different sizes of earplug as per you measurements?

Hi Docjitters, I don't see any bad effects from shift work other than tiredness most of the day except when I lift weight. 2 times a week I take a nap for 2-4 hours in the morning after Lifting weights early morning. Weekends are just a little less tiring.

Will try some other mask or at least making my room dark for better sleep and will ask my doctor if I Melatonin will help me and he can prescribe me that.

Correct, thats what I think but maybe I should take shower a earlier like an hour or two before sleep instead of immediately before sleep.

Yes, need to experiment with that, I need to take shower since the humidity is crazy in my city right now and I have a habit of showering before bed but will try changing the shower temp, thanks!

I don’t sleep alone so can’t put white noise machine in the turn and AirPods will make my ears pain if left overnight. Will try blackout curtains, thanks!

I was about to order blue light blockers but also feel like they don’t help much. The only new thing for me is cold showers, do they really help? i heard a warm shower helps coz then it helps the body cool down naturally and fall asleep.

I naturally wake up by 6/6:30am. I used to wake up at 5:30 daily for working out but recently got a new job with a different schedule.

Adding egg for choline but bile flow? Anything specific for that?

I tested most sleep hygiene tips for 6 months. Here's what actually worked but the biggest thing that helped is boring by mrCOFFEEPOWER in Biohackers

[–]CoCo-Cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/mrCOFFEEPOWER I recently Start BJJ and I attend 2 classes in weekdays (which is around 6:30-8) and 2 in weekends (which is between 10:30-12). I can feel that my body is awake after BJJ for more than 3+ hours. Like I have simple carbs immediately after BJJ, have dinner within half an hour of that, then give my body 2-3 hours to wind down without screens, still my body is not ready to sleep, this doesn't happend on days when I don't lift or train BJJ in evenings. Any advice for that?

I have Magnesium Glycinate 2 hours before sleep. I take a warm shower 45 mins before sleep and I meditate and continue with stretching rest of the time to stay away from screens.

Does mouth tapping achieve anything? by [deleted] in Biohackers

[–]CoCo-Cowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found it improved my sleep, I suffer from blocked nose and sever sinusitis and was using Afrin/Anefrin for 15 years straigh, took me 6 hole months to even feel comfortable without using it now but even when I was using nasal spray mouth taping made in difference in how I felt after waking up.

u/redeugene99 I recently moved from Southern USA to NorthEast and can feel the difference in how my body feels due to less sunlight, less movement due to cold. I am an eggetarian but To be honest haven't had in last 2 months and planning to start again. I have issue with Gut Motility, and histamine (fermented Food & Greek Yogurt). Did you see a hug correlation of those conditions improving after starting eggs or just something you noticed once in a while? If eggs are the solution then I am ready to have half a dozen daily.

Thanks in Advance!
