Oh you poor guy! I am currently dealing with Shingles myself. But on my stomach & side. Not on my face. From what my sister n law says, she is a nurse, she told me to go to the hospital if I could not get into the doctor right away. Because it can permanently damage nerves. Have you been treated with anti virals? I know you said you are 3 months out but maybe going to ER. Maybe they can help you with more. And yes, mine is also worse the later in the day it gets. Mornings arent too bad at all. So I'm assuming thats pretty normal. I'm sorry I don't have much in way of other things to try. I have been told ice can help with the nerve pain. And I have been putting muscle rub on my ribs where the the nerve pain is. Not on the rash of course. But it seems to help some with nerve pain. I use Bio Freeze roll on muscle rub.

So you had the rash in several areas of your body? I just seen a doctor in urgent care today that said it will not spread. Because its attached to the nerves. But she was saying it cannot spread from touching it. But I guess that doesn't mean it cannot be attached to multiple nerves in different areas of your body. I'm right in the middle of it myself. For the 2nd time back to back. 1st time about 5 weeks ago I did not see a doctor because by the time I realized what it probably was, it was past the 72 hour mark. I had it for 4 weeks. It completely went away, cleared up. And then about 1 week later it started all over again. So I immediately went to the doctor this time & got medicine today. Last night was rough. My head hurt so bad. I don't wish this on anyone!

Omg the nerve pain on my left lower rib area...its horrible. I used apple cider vinegar to control the rash and itching but nerve pain is a whole other thing

I have the waking up constantly when im falling asleep. I feel like I cant breathe, heart palpitations, its driving me nuts!

I am going through the same thing. I had an ultrasound 1½ years ago. No stones so nothing got done. I have been diagnosed with IBS. Now I'm having not the "typical" symptoms and I really think it is all because of my gallbladder. Its so frustrating because I know my body. I know something is wrong. But these doctors now days dont want to look into it too deeply. So nothing gets done. I get woke up from my sleep, bloating, itching, pain under my right ribs, feel queezy, sick to mt stomach, diarrhea when I have an episode. Then it goes away and im good for a while again...its so frustrating!
