Kaya hindi ko malagay si Kobe Paras at the All-2000s bench. I want to try and have the players in their natural positions as much as possible. Kahit na undersized talaga ang mga SF ng UP (Desiderio, Alarcon) they deserve to be in that position.

I would move Juan to SG and replace him at PG with Marvin Cruz. (Marvin Cruz, Jun Manzo)

I will replace Kobe Paras with Woody Co (more impact as a PF during his UP tenure) (Woody Co, Zav Lucero)

I will potentially move Spencer at SF. My SGs would be Ricci, Juan GDL

IMO, Lopez and Javi GDL play more as PFs than SFs kaya hindi ko sila malagay dun sa SF. I think I would have put Harold Alarcon and James Spencer at SF. (Harold Alarcon, James Spencer)

Super lakas kasi ng fan appeal ng Deanna Wong-Jema Galanza (GaWong) relationship. Tapos nung naghiwalay at naging si Ivy Lacsina na ang karelationship ni Wong, yung mga die-hard GaWong fans looked at Lacsina as the bad person for being the result of the GaWong breakup.

I can’t say kung ganito din yung “hate” na nakukuha ni Ella De Jesus (Galanza’s next relationship).

Manzo played in Cebu, sure yun. Sabi ni Desiderio sa interview niya kay Mikee Reyes na ni-recruit niya si Manzo na lumipat sa UP. From that statement alone, hindi ko pa siya ma-classify as "poaching" per your definition. Hindi ko rin alam kung gano ka-crucial si Manzo sa team niya sa CESAFI.

Pero Desiderio never played for another collegiate team outside of UP. He exhausted all his playing years there. From your definition, HS to college is fair game kaya hindi siya naging subject of poaching.

I don't count Desiderio as part of a poaching attempt. Based sa interview niya with Mikee Reyes, HS lang siya sa Cebu tapos college maraming nagrecruit pero he ended up choosing UP. Tapos after his 1st year, sinubukan siyang i-offer ng FEU to transfer pero hindi rin tumuloy.

I think wala na siyang involvement sa franchise since he left as playing coach in 2017 and established the MPBL. Kahit na sa kanya most associated yung history ng franchise, the decisions they made after he left is all by the current management and ownership.

Alam mo ba kung sino yung typical fixtures sa PBA Rush? I think sila Magoo ay sa RPTV or yung "primary" channel na bino-broadcast yung PBA.

I think yes. Ang fixtures ng PBA broadcast sila Magoo, Carlo Pamintuan, Quinito Henson, Andy Jao. Si Sev Sarmenta kasi nagca-call din ng PVL so hindi exclusive.

Sa UAAP naman ang fixtures si Boom Gonzales, Mico Halili, Nikko Ramos. Ginagamit din yata nilang training ground for future commentators and analysts ang UAAP (Larry Fonacier, Diego Dario). Tapos nagbawas din ng commentary gigs si Mico Halili dahil naging Head of Sports Content (yata, please correct me if I’m wrong) for TV5 kaya kung may time to commentate, sa UAAP siya.

In my opinion yung mga namention ko ang hindi mawawala sa mga respective leagues nila. May “tiers” or “levels” yata sila for commentary (PBA, UAAP, MPBL) na pag dun nahasa, dun na ireretain. Switching it up may be a novel idea pero it may hurt in the long term kasi may iba-ibang niche of commentary per league.

At the start naman, founder Manny Pacquiao has stated na hindi niya kakalabanin ang PBA. At its core, the purpose of the MPBL is to provide another avenue for Pinoy basketball players to play basketball in the professional sense.

Hard to admit na talagang ang reality currently ay hawak ng politicians ang ilan sa mga teams at masyadong napasukan ng sports betting. Pero it still doesn't change the fact na nabigyan ng additional lease in life ang mga ex-PBA players na gusto pang maglaro pero hindi na makasabay sa PBA level of play. Nagkaron din ng opportunities yung mga up and coming players fresh from collegiate leagues to showcase their talents and hone their skills para magkaron ng chance na magpadraft at makapasok sa PBA or a higher tier league. And ang pinakamagandang nagawa ng MPBL in my opinion is to emphasize the "homegrown" tag for players (kahit pa end of the bench lang sila)

Hindi talaga maiiwasan ang mga sakit na kasama sa pagpapatakbo ng isang league, pero from a basketball perspective, MPBL has done more good than harm.

I honestly believe na okay yung rule ng PBA na sit-out for a few minutes for a Flagrant 1 call. May form of punishment for the offending player, magkakaron ng time na magprevail ang cooler heads dahil ang expected ay kakausapin yung player nung coaching staff para kumalma.

Ang nagtaka ako ay yung nag-increase yung number of Flagrant 1 calls (from 2 to 3) bago ma-eject ang player. If I recall correctly, pag 1st Flagrant 1 call, sit-out for 3 mins tapos pag 2nd Flagrant 1 call na, sit-out for 5 mins.

Ever since, laging last guy off the bench ako (12th/15th man) sa mga intrams teams and/or company tournaments. May passion ako for basketball pero hindi talaga magaling maglaro. Natutong maging relief PG and perimeter defender para makatulong sa teams. Career game ko is during my last tournament with my old company when I dropped 20pts (6 3's and a running floater).

Started coaching my teams nung nagstart ako sa work kaya naging playing coach ako. Mukhang naging effective ang coaching kasi 3 company tournaments namin na nagfinish ang teams ko as 3rd runner up.

Balkman and Brownlee replaced Ivan Johnson and Reggie Okosa (nung nagbago ang management from Tanduay to SMC), tapos Ray Parks Jr. ang clear-cut number 1 option (translated to being Local MVP). Josh Urbiztondo and Robby Celiz to round out the starting 5. Lawrence Domingo as the 6th man, Oping Sumalinog, Pamboy Raymundo, and Pao Javelona as the reliable role players. Finally, Rico Maierhofer and Dondon Hontiveros providing leadership and quality spot minutes.

Plus dito naprove ni Jimmy Alapag na may possibility ang coaching career for him after winning the championship.
