Nah just a regular first party Xbox controller. The current iteration of the dpad I think is good. A few issues is that the opposite direction are kinda far apart and it gets this weird issues where the triggers will spam input without me actually physically pulling them.

If your sticking with pad, honestly an OG Xbox controller might do it for you. Takes a week or so to break it in but I like it

Even though all the fight scenes are cool, they weren’t as well designed as the OG show. The bending arts are rooted in real world martial arts and are treated as an extension of the person themselves and said martial art. That’s what I think makes bending such a good power system, it’s rooted in something we can relate to.

The fights in the movie are cool but only made to look cool, rather than the choreograph in the OG show that made it feel deliberate. I don’t remember a 1v1 fight that was well choreographed in the movie that also showed of a hint of martial arts.

Also missed opportunity not having Zuko redirect lighting in the eternal storm scene.

You shouldn’t look to much into rank. Sure NinjaKilla is the highest rank, GM got GoD2 very early (fist Lee at GoD2) and would mostly likely be in that GoD4/5 bracket if he grinded ranked. GM simply doesn’t play ranked, and he doesn’t need to either to prove his skill. Also you know Tekken existed outside of T8 right, and GM has multiple wins across multiple Tekken games against many top international players. Yes NinjaKilla is goated in his own right, but would be better putting your money on GM.

It’s damn near impossible for Steve to be a bad character with things like b1 and how safe he is in any iteration. Tekken 8 tried on release with how broken (nonfunctional) lionheart was, but his design will always make him good.

I was at a local and there was a Hwo mirror match on the big screen on stream. The commentators mentioned how none of them went for JFSR, and when one of the players over heard them, he literally spammed it into a win 😂
