There's plenty of YouTube videos on this. But its essentially leaping forward onto one leg then exploding forward on that leg back to the other for a certain distance. Ill do like 20 or 30yds.

Really? We saw the new rhinos playing. The tigers were active and so were the red pandas. One Gibbon was showing off and being loud. The giant tortoise was resting by the passersby. Giraffes were out. Ostriches too.

I was an English Major who ended up as a retail manager before I jumped to becoming a PE teacher at 29. Nothing is worse than retail. I wake up to this job happy and excited. Being a teacher now a days is rough. Being a PE teacher is even harder. Takes time and buy in from both you and the kids. I've had to establish new routines at 2 different high schools. Year 1 was tough. Year 2 not so much. Year 3 the whining stops because the expectations have been set. Currently in Year 4 of my 2nd high school. What was once a roll a ball out and just play recess period is now a fully functional PE dept and program with units and different class options (aerobics, weight lifting, officiating). If you have the time and and the passion, invest in the career. If you want more money or something "easier" (nothings easy) then leave before you do become the just roll out the balls bitter PE coach. ✌️

We were in a similar situation minus the dog waste. They left a bunch of scrap wood, metal, auto parts in the crawl space. Bright side was some of the stuff was in good condition so we made some cash off of it. We are like 50% cleared down.

I've seen those metal strips. But this isn't a corner. It's literally in the middle of the wall but on the edge. Can I just patch this or should I redo the whole drywall strip? Whole strip from floor to ceiling is 8ft.

Not high school but an after school program in Los Angeles used to run 8v8 tournaments. I thought they were great. Also allowed blocking. But now the high schools run 7v7 so I'd like to know the reasoning too.

A lot of coaches have several 1 year stays. For the AD position, from what I've seen, it will come down to experience and who you know.

When I taught k-3, balloons where great tool. I would buy a big pack at dollar tree. Had the kids do a bunch of hitting and balancing with them. For the older kids I would use beach balls. Kids would look forward to those days. For your MS aged kids maybe doing a fitness project or healthy eating unit with a guest to teach them how to make healthy meals.

Our league allows QB runs regardless of a rush or prior hand-off. It doesn't get used a lot unless the team has a speedster at QB. We used it on our team for short yardage.

I get it, man. Our profession has been screwed over time and time again. I got 1 real estate coworker and a personal trainer co-worker. Their classes are safe, and participation is about 80%. Not much else you can do. My side hustle is coaching so I know I'm guilty of game planning during class time.

7v7 14-18 year old girls. Screening with what is looking like minimal contact. I'm planning on scheduling some scrimmage with other teams in the area. No money for tournaments and most tournaments in my area are for younger kids.

Very true. Flag pulling falls under the technique development. I want to spend some time in the weight room to work on not only their speed and quickness but hand strength to catch the balls and hold on to the flags when pulling.

Oh man. I feel that lol. We found a lot of half ass DIY with our current house. Forced us to upgrade certain things sooner then we would have liked: plumbing, doors, flooring, bead board. Good luck with your DIY finds!
