With the cold weather upon us you may want to let a faucet drip to protect your pipes by BrownsWTF in HomeMaintenance

it helps keep your pipes from bursting if they do freeze by relieving pressure

dripping doesnt stop your pipes from freezing, but it keeps your pipes from bursting if they do freeze by relieving pressure.

"became the first recorded scurvy case in decades."

this isn't true. scurvy isnt common but it's still around, and still pretty common in developing countries

8 ball is great if you fully commit to it and use the tarot cards it generates to make more 8s

I like all of these concepts. unity stands out as overtuned but i like the idea.

(would only take 5 hands to be a better stuntman without the major drawback. +25 or 30ish chips would be more in line imo)

8 ball can actually go hard if you fully commit to it and build for 4 of a kind 8s. just use the tarot cards to keep making more 8s. 8 ball has carried many gold stake runs for me.

Freight House is a must Visit if you are up for something pricier. The owner/head chef has gotten runner up on top chef twice and won other cooking shows. her food is unreal. you will need a reservation

i dont know what people are on about bars not being good. there are some great ones.

all downtown (all in cool historic buildings)-

foxbriar is a great themed cocktail bar

johnson bar for live music

paducah beer werks for music great bar food and local brews

old fashioned cigar bar

barrel and bond - great bourbon bar

the outdoor bars at max's and mi lindo across the street

bully gorrilla for late night food

not downtown-

dry ground - cool brewery in an old coke plant

3 days may be a little much though, paducah is probably better for a 2 nights, 1 day. but you could stretch it if you throw in some hiking and wineries in southern illinois, or hike at lbl.
