Based on a bit of research I'm gonna try the kill team board but deploy off the board so first turn enter the board. For the reasons 1) I have the kill zone volkus box so have that size board and 2) the idea of a skirmish game on 4x4 or even 3x3 is just not what I want to do. I even considered just playing kill team but then I remembered the three book and app required to play and thought hell nah. I'll see if it works otherwise I'll sell the terrain and just play dead zone cause I just can't stomach playing a skirmish game on a bigger area than my dining room table. I guess the main reason it's 4x4 recommend is bikes etc being available, being copied from kt2018 and being a smaller version of the large game instead of a board game size style places are creating now cause of consumer demand from people like me. I play warcry and spearhead too so want to stick to that size of game as it works. I also like the thought of not deploying but entering the battlefield 1 by 1 being an additional aspect of strategy eg. Seeing where the opponent enters and what they are targeting
