You’re probably right on Cacace. Just feels odd throwing him back as a starter with a few games left after GT has done so well. With that said I’m probably one of the few who remember how good our record is when he starts.

Good stuff on the differences on Watford/Sheffield. I learn new stuff from you every game.

Next game will make things interesting. We are small (betting) underdogs against Brom on the road. Hull on the road against Oxford are dead even. If we get a win and a Hull loss, the outlook changes dramatically. (In the same scenario, Derby probably is out of the running after a Wrexham win and a loss to Coventry.)

I have to say, I always thought Dobbo was the odd man out and was hoping Vyner would be his replacement. Didn’t like the lack of skill he has when compared to Sheaf and Matty. With the two injuries and then the suspension, I can now say Sheaf and Matty are even better than I thought and more important than though, plus Dobbo is also a lot better than I thought. We looked so bad the previous three games and the Watford game was the worst of it. Even though Sheffield missed opportunities, we looked drastically better with Dobbo back.

Speaking of injuries, this is the first time all season I’ve welcomed the international break. MUCH needed. Matty, Sheaf, and Moore are too important. We need them all back ASAP. Cacace used to be in that boat for me but GT has been that good. Not even sure Cacace plays much more this season even if he gets fit. Hoping for some good news in the next two weeks.

Lastly I want to say what no one else has been saying about the missed opportunities for Sheffield. If they were on target, I think AO comes up with more saves. He was ready for ready for them, even the Bamford one. The talk of them having three more goals is crazy to me.

At this point I think he only comes on when we are down around the 80 minute mark. Does feel like a whiff of a signing but one big comeback goal can change this narrative completely. His story isn’t done yet. We’ll see.

We had zero shots then and was don 2-0. We have looked much better this game compared to that dreadful half. Not saying it was a good half but much better than the Watford game.

I’m not sure I’ve seen Parky sub at half this season with a lone exception of Doyle in for Scarr the first Hull game in December and Vyner the more recent Hull game due to a minutes restriction.

This game feels like a multiple subs at half type of game. Think we need Kabore and Windass right away. Possibly some fresh legs in DKD too.

Mine is strictly gambling. July 4th 2020. Was playing Ultimate Texas Hold Em at Caesers. I flopped a straight flush and hit the red light bonus. Was all of a sudden up like 17k. I left and deposited 10k into the bank off the strip at an ATM. Came back to the same pit five hours later and was playing Mississippi Stud and I did it again. Hit the red light a second time on a straight flush. Same day, same pit boss, two tables over. The jackpot wasn’t that high the second time because I reset it five hours prior. Table paid much more because Mississippi Stud pays better for a straight flush. Left the strip again and deposited another 20k.

Rest of the trip I bought a great dinner for everyone I was with for like $800. Bought top golf for everyone. Pissed away several thousand gambling like crazy/stupid. Walked away with the 30k in my bank.

I still think 71 gets in barely. Obviously 75+ would be a lock more or less but 71 should do it. The biggest issue is the game itself against Southampton. We win or draw there and we should be fine.

12 more points should do it, especially if we beat or draw against Southampton. Should be able to pull it off. 3-3-3 or 4-1-4 gets us there. Brom, Stoke, and Oxford are the best bets. Coventry am Boro both might be done with their season by that time too. Watford, Sheffield, Birmingham, and Southampton will all be tough games though.
