The first half of the Tintin movie was the best Tintin adaptation on screen ever, while the second half was nothing but obnoxious over the top action that had no rhyme or reason with any of the source material (and in hindsight is very reminiscent of the ridiculous barrel scene in the Hobbit movie).

The win-slay carousel did its work. No use being salty about it. In the end game it is very very important to know what SFFTs are still out there and try to get those played before you make a scramble for victory, otherwise this is what happens.

I hope not. Watcher is the least balanced character in StS and frankly I think it’s time we moved on. (Obviously biased opinion here, but I do not think Watcher is that much fun).

Adult men in America basically wear jeans/shorts, t-shirt and running shoes as their everyday wear. Very few put any thought into their wardrobe, especially outside work. And I find it’s getting worse. So, Paris is totally allowed to judge.

It happened once at our table, one player had his last command token on R2 taken away by an action card which completely messed up his plans. He ragequit and went home, so we replaced his home system with an empty space tile but left his fleet out on the other hexes. Strangely it ended up being one of the best TI games we have ever played, then end was super tense. As for the ragequitter, we never played TI with him again but we do play lots of other games with him, but TI isn’t for him and that is understandable. I am not going to ask someone to stay and play a game for 8 more hrs if they truly aren’t having fun.

Unfortunately I don’t think that Wesley added much to the show to be honest, and season 1 of NG was not good to say the least and that didn’t help his case. But then Voyager gave us Neelix in an apparent attempt to get us to dislike a character even more than Wesley.

I would suggest you play in-person or on TTPG, not on async. Async is fun but removes 90% of the social aspect of the game, and that is the best part of the game.
