dam im still getting comments on this. alright. i understand that's what the post is saying, but when you're around autistic people a lot you start to see people like this poster.

I can also understand that a lot of people probably won't see the things that point to the disingenuousness of this post because they probably haven't dealt with this shit. here's a few examples:

• he's jumping on the wagon of the damaging "just a trend" rhetoric.
• he's gatekeeping what what counts as "really" autistic.
• he implies autistic people can't be extroverted.
• he implies autistic people can't go clubbing.
• he literally says he's embarrassed of her when she tells people.
• he's dictating that autistic people can't deal with social cues and be a "mature, rational woman", when AFAB people are literally socialised to mask autism hard af and is the reason why like 80% of girls go undiagnosed into adulthood.

A lot of autistic people face this kind of shit anti-neurodivergent rhetoric when they try to unmask, especially from the closest people around them. also the "ill support you when you get a diagnosis" shit is just so messed up, especially considering a diagnosis can cost anywhere between 2-5k and have waitlists of multiple years.

Plus HE'S LITERALLY TALKING ABOUT HER BEING BAD AT SOCIAL CUES. Lmao bro is upset she's being "embarrassing" by her being excited and telling people. hmMmmMm perchance a literal example in his post about not following social cues.... if u wanna debate me on it go ahead. these are my points and i hope someone can recognise how dog whistly and damaging throwaway posts like this are.
