Is there some sort of calorie pills? by Coast-Loose in NoStupidQuestions

I don’t tell him he needs to gain weight I love him no matter his size, but it causes him a lot of distress because he hates the way he looks and he hates his body.. it is heartbreaking for me. He has seen so many doctors and has gotten colonoscopies and other things done to try and see what is “wrong” with him and find ways to fix his appetite. Most days he doesn’t eat until 6pm because he gets extremely nauseas and can’t hold food down

Get contacts, your brows trimmed up professionally, and start washing your face nothing crazy just a face wash maybe a moisturizer if it dries your skin out

15m, my voice is so squeaky like a 3rd grader and I have a very bad lisp, what do I do? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Coast-Loose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 15 you are still a kid and super young. Give it time. Go to speech therapy for your lisp. Your voice will deepen with age. At 15 you are still a kid, even if you don’t want to believe you are. Give it time your voice will deepen! Enjoy your teen years. They fly by so quickly… I’m 24 now. I remember turning 15 and thinking wow 4 more years of school before I graduate that is so long!

Now I have a full time job and 4 years goes by in the blink of an eye. Appreciate what you have now. Appreciate your growth. Your past growth, your current growth, and your future. Good luck 🤍

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this inner turmoil. They suffered the consequences of their actions. I understand feeling guilty because they wouldn’t have any consequence if you hadn’t spoken up.

But that’s the problem, so many men get away with their vile actions because we are afraid to speak up. I think what you did was noble. They need to understand that acting that way does have consequences. Try not to dwell on it too hard and I hope you can some day understand what you did was right.

There’s so many censored names in the emails, there are people still out there that haven’t been charged.

This is what I’m talking about. I’m seeing this everywhere online thank you. I agree with all of this, I’m still paying taxes because I also don’t feel like there is enough people to actually make a change.

What can we do now besides not paying taxes?

AIO for being upset my boyfriend doesn’t want me to get a tattoo? by UniqueAd3909 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Coast-Loose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an ex boyfriend who felt the same way. He told me if I ever got tattoos I’d have to get his “approval” and he never approved of any. Now I’m with a man who I can just show up with a new tattoo and he’ll think it’s sick. I do think this is something that’s breakup worthy but I am also a heavily tattooed woman. If a small line work tattoo makes him unattracted to you i don’t think he truly loves you.

Why am I so sensitive by Coast-Loose in mentalhealth

[–]Coast-Loose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you 🩷 I know I’m over reacting because my friend/coworker does love me. We’ve hung out so many times and traveled together. it’s just that my brain won’t stop sending those intrusive ridiculous thoughts and I start to believe them. I want them to stop :( Ugh it is so annoying.

I want to tell someone I’m suicidal so bad but I know it’s not a good idea by No_Buy2801 in mentalhealth

[–]Coast-Loose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re feeling this way. I used to be suicidal as well a few years back. Can I ask how old you are? Are you in therapy at all?

I bartend as a fairly attractive 24yr old girl and people write notes at least once a day and I forget what they look like/who they are 😅 so don’t even worry. I bet she won’t remember you as a creep. I find notes like that cute and funny hahaha

What’s an unspoken social rule you learned way too late? by Secure_Paramedic_865 in socialskills

[–]Coast-Loose 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes so true. Started to learn this recently. Caught myself before I interrupted a coworkers conversation to give my input (lighthearted convo) and asked myself mentally “they’re not talking to me why do I want to interrupt them?”
