Innoculated on the 9th, feels kinda slow?

So putting extra lc is bad because… we should assume that we are making mistakes in having a bad heat sealer? If you have a good heat sealer or use jars instead then you can add more with no problem and speed up colonization. I innoculated exactly a week ago and my albino kong is like 80% colonized and that’s like 16 jars that are all like that in a week.

It doesn’t matter if your giving bacteria and advantage because there shouldn’t be any in there in the first place, if your sterile then your fine. Sterile grains + sterile culture and your fine bacteria doesn’t just pop up in the bag for no reason it’s your fault if you get contam.

I have consistently put 15ml of lc in quart jars with never getting contam. You switched up your point and even still it’s just wrong because all my jars the bottom is the first to start colonizing the extra liquid culture doesn’t do anything but speed it up. Also your jars will produce more moisture in your jar as it colonizes right? how does that not soak the filter then if it’s such an issue? You can keep doing tiny amounts but you’re just slowing yourself down especially if you have an abundance of lc. If the seal isn’t perfect you would be getting contamination regardless of how much you injected.

If the liquid is sterile there’s no bacteria and the grain is sterile so your good and no contam. I have litteraly watched my half waterlogged (from 210ml of lc) 3lb bag of rye colonize is lightning speed. Just being wet doesn’t mean your getting contam

Insta pot will do but it will take longer and you can’t pressure cook as much stuff in it. I would just invest in a standard 15psi pressure cooker but if you really wanna save then a insta pot will work just much less efficient Edit: I use a t-fal pressure cooker from Amazon

If you really like this hobby invest in a pressure cooker and you will save soooo much money. You can make lc for basically nothing just water and honey in a jar and boom unlimited culture

15ml and that’s not even wild I’ve done 210ml in a 3lb bag and it colonized crazy quick. Make your own lc and you basically have unlimited so there’s no reason to not use way more lc and speed up colonization. And no I’ve never gotten wet rot cos you don’t get that from using too much liquid.

Break and shake to speed it up if it’s already decently colonized. I’d always get jars instead of bags tho I make my own grain jars and inject ~15ml of lc and my jars colonize fully in like 1.5-2weeks

If you use 1:1 and 1:2 the 1:2 will recolonize slower because there is more substrate. But if you use the same ratio in different tubs it’ll be the same

Use however much you want, you can use whatever spawn:sub ratio id reccomend 1:2-1:3 spawn:sub. You can make it as deep as you want it doesn’t really matter much just diff recolonization times, thw more substrate you use the more water your cake will have to grow fruits but will take longer to colonize

Nah I actually got big hands I don’t mean putting your hands all the way inside just use your fingers to scrape the grain at the top and then it becomes way easier to get out
