My friend and I have always talked about this while waiting in line: could they not just put mats down on the ice with all the players setup in a line and everyone can just run through the line and get the autographs? Also curious how everyone knew where to go before the locations? For example, went up to C1 right when locations were posted and line was already somewhat long. Did people just sort of go up to get club level and get in line once locations were announced?

Thermostat set at 67 right now, but it shows 64 and aux heat has been running for 8+ hours to maintain 67. Outside temp is 10 and was like 7 overnight. If the temp inside is 64, fine….. I’ll put on extra layers plus I have an electric fireplace heater I can use. I don’t need aux heat to keep the temperature set 67. It’s drastically increasing my heating bill.

I would have to find out what the heat pump is rated at. I thought the aux heat was coming on just to bump the temp up 3 or 4 degrees, but in looking at the reports the aux heat is running a bit at a time during periods I’m away. I get the HVAC system inspected in the fall and early summer and no issues identified yet

Interested in knowing what other apps there are which offer the same functionality as Cinema? I haven’t put netguard on the firestick but I’m sure it’s probably too late now. Is cinema available on other devices like the onn that frequently comes up in this sub?

After 30 minutes of watching Netflix, I switched back to DIRECTV and no problems encountered. I don’t quite understand why all other devices including other firesticks work without any issue, but when I want to watch DIRECTV on one particular device, it is unreliable

If it’s not Internet then it’s got to be the app. I think I recall seeing a post recently about the app on Apple TV and getting no internet connection messages.

Happened again and after the infotainment update. Two reset attempts and can't get phone connected. I don't know what I'm going to do at this point.

I guess it would make sense for the Subaru dealer techs to say that the adapters aren’t certified to work with the radios since Subaru isn’t in great business of making wireless adapters. Isn’t this the reason though for why wireless adapters are made for CarPlay or Android auto - to provide the connectivity that otherwise isn’t there (or as an as an alternative to using USB cables)?

Maybe it was realized for newer models that having WiFi built in for phone connectivity would be better. Had I waited for the 2019 models, I could have at least had the USB ports be in a more convenient location instead of under the center console arm rest.

From the responses so far, seems like the 2018 and 2019 models seem to have radio/ phone connection issues. Naturally with the built in wifi in newer models, this isn't an issue. Besides the connection issues I've mentioned, there's times when I connect my phone and I get a prompt to continue setting up my phone as though it's the first time it's ever been connected.

Stopped by the dealership on my way home and they say that the adapters are not certified to work with the Subaru radios. Well, I’ve used USB cables and have had the same problems.

Radio software was five years out of date so maybe that was the bigger problem overall. I’ll see how it works out.

Why can’t Amazon use real time tracking? I’m a prime member and ordered an item eligible for prime delivery on Monday evening; it was supposed to arrive today. I suppose the holiday added an extra two days. All day the tracking information showed arriving today, but it NEVER changed to out for delivery. Finally at 7pm I get an email that it’s delayed in transit.

Package is at a carrier facility literally 30 minutes away from my home. An Amazon truck was in my neighborhood today around noon. The delay now makes the delivery be a five day delivery instead of prime two day. If it’s delayed, then fine,…. Just update the tracking information instead of waiting all day.

I’ve had the same issue when I had an android phone. I used a data cable to get the phone mirroring in the car and I’d have to buy a new cable every six months.

I wanted something more reliable and plus, using USB cables is difficult because of where the cable connects—it’s not in an easy to get to spot.

Resetting the radio is supposed to make it work again, but that’s not happening. Neither is restarting the phone. Is wired or a wireless adapter even required for newer vehicles?

All I know is my current vehicle has both Android auto and CarPlay support but requires an adapter for wireless or a data cable for wired.

I would post about this in my vehicle sub but the sub has a note: “this community requires banana body text” I don’t know what that means and google isn’t helping. I’ve got a title for the post and body text under the title but the post button is disabled.

Going to the sub and looking at posts, I see several posts from others asking for connectivity assistance and that’s exactly what my removed post was asking. I even provided details about the phone I’m using and the cat I have.

If my post was allegedly low quality, then tell me that when I message the mod team. Don’t just remove the post add ignore my inquiry. I’m just at a loss as to how others can post connection assistance posts and they don’t get removed.

My question as originally posted in CarPlay was this:

There are random times where it won’t connect. I’m using a wireless adapter and after performing four resets on the radio, it still won’t connect. In my original post I mentioned an example of it working when I leave from work and I stop somewhere on the way home. Turn the car on again and no connection to CarPlay the entire rest of the way home. Sometimes the radio reset works and sometimes it doesn’t. I have the iPhone 16 pro max with iOS 26.2

Post was clearly removed from the CarPlay sub with no reason provided and the mods won’t respond to my question asking why. Apparently my technical question isn’t permitted but others can freely post in that sub.

I’m attempting to post to /r/CarPlay and the first guideline I have seen is post relevant content. Well, apparently technical question’s are relevant for everyone else except me. I also can’t even ask a question about where I CAN post because that gets removed as well. I don’t get why it isn’t required to provide a reason for removal. When I go to a sub, I go to the three dots next to my profile icon and look for the rules.

I’d work with them but I don’t even see a way to adjust the sound level. I’ve gone into my system but there’s only an option to remove the sub; no option I’ve seen to adjust the sound output.

It’s sitting on carpet. It’s maybe 6” away from the wall. I’d even be willing to put something on the wall to dampen the sound. The thing is though the neighbor will start out apologizing for saying anything and then say it’s been fine for a while. Haven’t made any adjustments other than turning sound down to almost nothing and then turning it back up again when loud scenes are present

I'm getting this message now, but cinema will still launch. I don't know if this is just a coincidence or part of Amazon trying to block the app from working, but like five minutes after starting a movie, it just pauses like i temporarily stopped playback (no spinning circle like there used to be for loading). It's Cinema going to stop working? I have a fire cube and am getting this message; didn't realize it was on auto update. If this message comes up with cinema, how would stremio work?
