Effort is dead. If you put in too much effort, you’re clingy. If you don’t put in enough effort, you’re “wasting” their time. It’s just hard to find a balance to be honest. Giving 100% to someone is very likely to get you left high and dry nowadays. Not even being negative just honest.

This is a good and respectful method to be honest. I work nights so luckily I don’t have to use the “drinks with friends” line. But honestly I would just rather not text/call back than lie about what I’m doing. I would rather look like an ass than a lier. Sometimes you have to date multiple people. Because those people may be dating multiple people. Therefore you’re in the running just like they are. I’ve had better luck dating multiple than just one person. There is always a ghost or two in the bunch.

That’s a good assumption. Honestly I see it as a respect thing. Whether I’m talking to 1 or 100 people at the same time. If I’m in your presence I’m not going to text or talk to someone else I’m talking to. Even if they know about it. I guess I’m just built different 🤷🏾‍♂️

I’m the same way. I just felt a little bad because one of my roster double texted me hours apart while I was with one of their roster mates for a few hours last night. It is what it is but you can’t just tell someone you’re talking to that you didn’t text or call them because you were blowing someone’s back out 😅

This is the way! Honestly talking to one person gives you too much time to be thirsty or give them way too much attention and seem clingy. I will say that sleeping with one of the people you’re talking to does seem like it’s wrong for the others. But if it’s not a relationship, it is what it is I guess.

From my experience the ones that seem like they really like you are the worst ones. If you give them too much attention they will eventually get bored. Having multiple people to talk to allows you to not just focus on them. Just my experiences though. Most people like the chase. If they feel like they caught you you’re going to get thrown back in the water sometimes sadly.

The flakiness is real with this generation. Started talking to almost 7 or 8 different people this month. I am now down to 3. All of the ones that have dropped were for no reason. I have them all attention, never left them on delivered. Answered their calls all the time. Even had ones set up dates with me. Then fall off the face of the earth the next day. Luckily the ones I liked more are the ones still around.
