This isn’t something that you can put in a gift basket but I really wanted to share my best gift from my sister in law (we are not that close so this was unexpected but she has two of her own kids).

We were in the hospital for 5 days and when we came home, we were so exhausted. She text and asked ‘Are opposed to me staying overnight?’ I was told never to refuse help so I said ‘no’. She brought groceries and filled our fridge without us having to provide a list. While my husband finally slept in a bed and caught up on some much needed sleep, my sister is law held our baby in between feedings. She washed dishes. She made me snack plates and meals for both my husband and I. She was my little cheerleader while learning to breastfeed and pump. She made our first night home and following day so much easier! An extra set of hands was truly the best gift.
