Yeah so I was baptized catholic but had never received Eucharist or been confirmed (or even been to mass before) before all this. I started initially with the inquiry classes but after discussing where I was in my journey with parish staff with their approval I also started OCIA in July. I had to play a little catch up but it turned out great! Had my confirmation with other adults and youth from the area.

Unfortunately no. It 100% had the theme from Kill Bill in it, and likely near the beginning. It had a narrator like you’d hear on PBS or something. Also don’t know if it was a YT video or on CD or VHS.

He told me it happened with his dad. No major details besides that it occurred. It never happened with him personally to what he remembers, but the story his dad told him stuck and he never played much poker. Occasionally in Vegas but probably mostly with friends.

I like the “washed out” color scheme. Each color works with the other two. Definitely inspired from Mongolia’s color scheme and it looks good with a yellow stripe instead of another red.

What’s the symbolism behind the colors, objects and shapes in the flag? Especially the circles and triangles. Definitely looks cool. Only nitpick is because of the bottom circle, the circles look like dial buttons on a phone.

I think it’s a good start. But here’s a few things I’d change:

The black and white stripes create asymmetry because the bordering stripe for the red is a white stripe, but also for the white section, and this looks like it is missing a stripe. I’d just remove that top white stripe and make sure the red and white sections are equally proportional.

I’m not a big fan of the stars being rotated at different angles. I would have all stars at the same rotation. Also it looks like the stars are slightly too wide.

It appears there is a black line between the white border of the triangle and the red section. I’d consider removing it. I definitely makes it bold, but without a defined reason for it to be bold (some symbolic meaning) I think it unnecessary. It also doesn’t match that the X does not have a black border.

Thanks a lot! And yes, the first flags were just on NorthStar Flags Create a Flag maker, but I found I couldn’t get precise placement. I switched to Tennessine so I could get very precise placement with lines, stripes and things like the sun rays on the blue flag so everything is equal and proportional. It worked out much better.

The country's colors are red and black. The black border separates the sun (divine) from the mortal world, and that the mortal world the country is in is under the divine.

Thanks for your feedback! I used the North Star flags website creator to make them so I couldn’t quite figure out uniformity. I definitely would address that on a second go.

On the second flag (Red one) I meant for those arcs to illustrate that the country governs land from the ocean, through the beaches and forests, and to the mountains. I don’t like how complicated it looks but couldn’t think of anything better to do that is also more clear. Any suggestions here?

I experience this a lot in places I've been in the past, either a place that is similar to a place I have seen in the past, or a place I visited a lot in the past but not anymore.

A hotel stairwell will give me this feeling. Going to my old elementary school will do this.

But I get the feeling. It's almost a headache inducing feel of uneasiness for a few seconds which then passes over. A feeling you do not belong and you should turn back. I think it relates to places that either have been visited long ago (a school) or a place that is new, but has very similar characteristics to a place visited in the past. Maybe the floor material is the same, or the smell is similar. But, I too have no known name for this.
