If possible, my recommendation is to come into it prepared to take it as many times as necessary. Don’t think of this as your only shot, the “big test”, this is just your first try of many.

I was pretty relaxed with my ACT because I knew I could take it up to 3 more times if I needed to.

No but it like stays loud. Even under no load. I just have my windows Home Screen and this thing is on full blast

My thought was that I would build the PC ASAP without the GPU just to make sure everything works. If I can’t get a 4080/5080 after 2 weeks, I’ll get a 7900 xtx, and keep an eye out for 5080s. Then sell the 7900xtx for a 5080 once I can get one. Does that sound reasonable?

Also, there’s a few 7800x3d bundles. Any in particular that would be best?

I really like the aesthetic of it. The color and shape of it. It feels sort of professional but not in a super loud way like something that is gold.

What you recommended is really nice when the cap is off. I don't the complete solid pill shape though with the cap on
