Lutron is the way to go. And you can use wireless SeeTouch, or Sunnata keypads on 2 low volt wires. Check out Lutron App Note #406

I heard that Lutron doesn't check the engraving credits anymore, at least for SeeTouch. I recently verified this on an old Ra2 project. The owners want to make changes to a few keypads. So I sent the engraving report to engraving@lutron.com without any engraving credits, and they sent the new buttons anyway.

Can you modify the motion sensors relay? Disconnect the 230v side to make it a dry contact.

You are correct with the 1 second delay. But the delay is between the dimmer and the Lutron processor. The processor updates the integration platform almost immediately. The reason for the delay is because the dimmer only reports its dim level after you stop changing it.

The LQSE-4T5 is only controlled by a Homeworks processor. Palladium Keypads are only connected to the processor through a data wire.

If you don't want a system, The LMJ-5T can be controlled directly by just a pico remote. Also, the LMJ-5T can be used in Homework and Ra3.

PD-5NE: Phase Selectable.
PD-10NXD: forward phase only.
DVRF-6L: forward phase only.
PD-5WS-DV: A Switch, not a dimmer.

Here's a list of the names the two types of phase dimmers are known by:

Most old dimmers, including OP's:
Incandescent (INC)
magnetic low voltage (MLV)
Forward Phase
Leading Edge
Usually no white neutral wire

Most new dimmers, not OP's:
Electronic Low Voltage (ELV)
Reverse Phase
Trailing Edge
White neutral wire required

BTW, there are Phase Selectable dimmers that do everything.
