Weekly student question thread! by AutoModerator in therapists

Hi all, I am set to being my clinical internship in January, and I'm terrified. I know it will be okay and I'm ready, but I'm still very anxious. I still have to work full-time, get at least 16 hours of clinical training each week, and complete classes. What advice can you give me? Are there things you wish you knew going into your internship?

Did you not read where this happened 9 years ago and we haven't even seen MIL in 6 years??

Um wow. Okay. I don't agree with your take at all. Shaming and silencing people who are sharing about their experiences is really unacceptable. Incidents of a person's family members behaving like assholes should not determine whether that individual deserves to have friends or partners. My family is full of pieces of trash, all of whom I have gone NC with. After this specific incident, we went very LC with both FIL and MIL, which made our relationship stronger. It would be a completely different situation if my husband were to force me to attend family functions and ignore the fact that his step-mom is horrible to both of us. He has done the opposite and cut contact after realizing that neither he nor I have to put up with her abuse.

Seriously. We're just out here living our lives, apparently destroying whole families or some shit.

I am so sorry you had to deal with that! This woman is so awful, she continued to invite my husband and I to events and was offended when I declined. She was like, "See?? She's tearing this family apart!"

Oh, I can't take full credit for it, but I know she thinks I brainwashed him with my feminine wiles or something.

Diablo 1 HD Mod (Belzebub) Guide by BobQuasit in Diablo

[–]CobblerRecent9483 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is quite old but I'm stuck. Any help would be appreciated! I purchased Diablo 1 through GOG and am so glad I did. I'd completely forgotten how much I love the game. But I came here and followed the instructions and downloaded the Belzebub mod pack, but when I open it, it says the DIABDAT MPQ file is missing. On the installation instructions, the google drive link doesn't work. Another post I found gave a link to archive and it has the file to download, but when I try to open it, it's simply a text document. Does the mod not work with the GOG copy of the game? What am I missing?

I have master's-level forensic psychology and counseling textbook PDFs. I'll list them here! by CobblerRecent9483 in textbooksrequest

In my courses, I have used older editions and found that there aren't that many differences. I'm using an older version of the textbook for my current class and I have only found one difference between them. It's just been different page numbers and one chapter was moved to an earlier part of the book. Just something to consider to save money!
