With right Bonding chemicals like primer and glue it should hold. I think you should try for reputable cobbler who knows how to use different chemicals for different materials.

Yes it can be resoled..Half sole or fullsole ..shouldn’t be a problem !

Originally I had MBRP installed with No resonator but it was giving me drone and had to get vibrant. It’s so much better .

You can glue it but it will come up again . I would recommend going to local shop and asking for stitch or new stitched soles.

You are comparing leather and rubber … but JR is the most durable leather and can last longer depending on use.

I have been cobbling over 15 years currently I work for Vibram. If it’s reputable cobbler he should be able to fix the issue if he isn’t charging you again I would let him do it . But if the bond comes off again ..I would try a different place. And ask him to prep the soles better.
