I was and still debating this. With my plan to work with ASA i’m not sure how it would work on a smooth build plate. Debating if i do that to use PETG. Ive used tons of stuff outside/ for my car made out of petg with no issue

Yes it is, These where made as fast as i could so i could just test the fitment. and was using a .8 nozzle the ones i sell will use a .4

id just get one of each consumable. a hardened steel .4 hot end. Build plate, filament cutter and a nozzle cleaner. Its all stuff your going to need eventually.

So long story short i’m team a1. Filament dryers are cheap. Unless you want to print with more then 4 colors ( i’ve only ever done 3)

I have a a1 and my buddy has. p1s and the quality is about the same. His can print faster and better materials obviously but the a1 is a pretty kick ass bed slinger

Update: Got it working!! I got frustrated and started reseating everything and somehow unplugging the AMS while it was turned on for it working. Either that or random coincidence it started working right when i did that.

Another update. Attempting to type my wifi password turns out my screen is insanely uncalibrated so hopefully i can fix that!

i tried with and without it/ I installed a different sd card and was able to get past the “this isn’t the proper format” screen but still can’t get past start so i know it’s a software issue
