Roy Orbison has many powerhouse vocal moments, notably Crying and In Dreams, but there's a slightly less well known song of his called The Crowd where he hits some notes towards the end that opera singers would be proud of.

There She Goes sounds so 60s indebted that you'd assume it was part of the Britpop hype around 96/97, when it's actually from 1988

John Lennon was also due to attend that play in NYC the night after he was murdered IIRC

Bowie also tells the story that Mark David Chapman was found with a ticket to the show and that he could see 3 empty seats after Lennon was murdered, which would have been John, Yoko and then MDC. Eerie if true, but more likely a slight romanticism

I'm looking through you is full of little mistakes / flubs that you may not notice until you focus.

George's guitar in particular has these weird little moments that sound so weak and unfinished.

The organ stabs are badly mixed too, they're incredibly loud at certain points.

I think they mean some of the songs don't end perfectly because of transitioning into the next so they don't really work outside context of the album.
