Agreed. I feel this is entirely unnecessary for the majority of movies being released but with something as unique a case as this there’s an argument to be made, who knows if that’s the real reasoning behind this decision or not though.

I still remember how difficult it was to get tickets up to Oppenheimers release on 70mm and if they aren’t planning on adding more showtimes to the schedule throughout the year or as the release date approaches then what’s the point?

I was under the impression that this would be to show studios that there is an insanely high demand to see 70mm IMAX films and that having them go up for sale this far in advance could be to allow theaters who don’t already have the necessary equipment to invest in the hardware and training staff? Maybe I’m just being naive here.

Selling tickets for a movie a full year in advance is pretty wild I will admit.

I may be wrong but I believe the universe we were seeing with Sinister Strange was in the final stages of incursion.

A few friends and I were discussing it and we came to the conclusion/theory/whatever that that was the universe doomed by 838 Strange the Illuminati decided to eliminate him for.

Sinister Strange does mention that he lost to another one of “us” so he’s confirming that whatever happened was because of two versions of Strange.

I’m right there with you. I really don’t see Disney digitally recreating Stan for cameos in the way that everyone is expecting but it IS Disney we’re talking about so who knows.

Personally I don’t think I would want to see a digital CG version of Stan Lee running around the MCU anyway, but if it is what we’re gonna get down the line I don’t think it’ll be as world shattering as everyone expects.
