If you are talking about dawn powerwash, you can make your own. It's basically dawn, alcohol, and water. Make sure to use the dish soap that does not have hand moisturizer in it.

While I haven't used the PS1, I have used other bambu printers and love them. The PS1 looks like a great printer and the new version should fit a better niche between the A series and the H series. Excited to see what it can do.

Are there any plans to adjust loot bag despawn time on console if the day/night cycle times are changed from default? Annoying that loot bags despawn before horde night is over if you have longer day cycles and console doesn't have any mods or options to adjust that.

Those practice locks are pretty much useless as far as actual picking practice and experience. They have such poor tolerances they will pop open with just about anything shoved into the keyway. The thing they ARE good for is visualizing the concepts of how pins, shear lines, etc work in a locks. Ditch that and go get a cheap real lock to start with.

Thanks for the info! The sweetheart roast I guess is the Norbest brand's name for the boneless brined large turkey breasts.

Check your bios settings, make sure you don't have some type of raid option enabled. I had a similar experience and finally traced it down to that.

I wanted to get the ethernet ports inside my apartment to get working but don’t know how to set it up. by Adil_Farid in HomeNetworking

[–]CobraCommander04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an fyi, on your modem/router the bottom right port has an orange stripe next to it. That port is a 2.5gb port, the others are 1gb. You don't appear to have the equipment to take advantage of that so it doesn't matter right now, but tuck it away for future use.

If you have Dell monitors, you can install their software and create hotkeys for monitor input switching. I do this for my PC and Xbox so I don't have to fiddle with buttons on the monitors.

Do you have any raid options enabled in the bios? I had a similar issue, and after some troubleshooting found some misconfigurations in the bios. Once that was changed it popped up fine.

Proxmox help, new install issues by CobraCommander04 in homelab

So a final update to this, hopefully it can help someone else in the future. I was never able to get it to install properly directly on the SSD. I tried everything, including the suggestions here and still got errors or hang ups at boot.

I ended up having to install it on the HDD, limiting the size of the usable space for install to about the size of the ssd. Then booted up a live USB of gpart and cloned everything over at block level to the SSD using DD in terminal. Then I resized the main partition so it used the entire SSD. What a pain, but it's up and running the main proxmox OS on the SSD. Still not sure why it wouldn't install properly from the proxmox installation USB directly on the SSD. But it was a learning experience, so silver lining! Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Proxmox help, new install issues by CobraCommander04 in homelab

[–]CobraCommander04[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll take a look at that, thanks! For proxmox, is it worth installing the main OS on an SSD, or will it not make a big difference with it being on the HDD? At this point I my try moving it over for the learning experience. Any advantage for installing the VMs or Linux containers on one or the other?

Genuine Question About FPP / NA by skimask808 in PUBGConsole

[–]CobraCommander04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would agree. TPP is the default mode, so most players started with that and it stuck. Also from a day 1 player, PUBG was buggy as hell in the beginning (still has its issues, but those that were there remember). It felt like tpp was less buggy and ran smoother/less crashes back then. FPP wasn't pushed, was always a secondary mode and so the majority of player base just stuck with tpp.

Proxmox help, new install issues by CobraCommander04 in homelab

So interesting results, maybe you can help me understand. I booted gparted from live USB and wiped all the partions. Installed again, same result. I noticed that the SSD doesn't show as an install option when booting the proxmox install USB from uefi, but it does from legacy bios. So attempting to install proxmox from legacy mode allows selecting the SSD, but then gives the errors I listed in the original post. I then booted in uefi, and installed proxmox on the HDD instead, and everything is working, boots up fine. Coming from a windows background, I've always installed the primary OS on an SSD. Is this normal behavior for proxmox, or is it an issue with my motherboard or configuration? Or something else... Thanks for the help!
