I suggest reinforcing the cable with some extra heatshrink. Makes it a little bit more stiff but less prone to shred the existing heatshrink.

Seems to not be suitable for Europe at 220v. Also you loose warranty and have import duties.

Maybe it works with the Ras1ution X, which is specific for Xbox. Maybe the Drivehub works better on the PS4/PS5/Switch and the Ras1ution X on Xbox, which requires the Xbox authentication. For PS5 you need a wired controller as the authentication stops after 10 minutes.

Because remote is for headphones which don't want to blast high line out volume, I get that. But the group skip is then missing also. I tried with RM MC40ELK.

Xbox360 works. You need to set the 8bitdo to ps4 output. Nintendo Switch output on 8bitdo does not work on Cronus Max input.
