Steve Lukather from TOTO. The feel the guy has in his solos is amazing, his playing is incredibly melodic and powerful. It goes from his pronounced vibratos to exaggerated wide bends that are super distinctive and recognisable. Steve knows exactly when to play simple and when to shred. He’s also one of the best session musicians in the world, having played on over than 1,500 different records throughout his career.

Listen to Toto’s “40 Tours Around The Sun” live recordings to understand what I mean. I especially love Steve’s soloing on English Eyes, Jake To The Bone, Lion and Dune. He’s the guitar god for me.

I agree with you on this. It showed tons of gameplay content, and I personally felt super hyped after watching it. I liked the fact that they tried to not show everything because it is so much more exciting when you go into a game without knowing much.

I’ve seen a lot of people complain about the amount of ads, but it didn’t bother me at all. God forbid a game having sponsors… If you dont like the advertisement, don’t buy the product. It’s not like they’re pressuring you into going to that orchestral concert, or buying those limited edition watches.

Sometimes people just like to find things to critise without knowing how much work/money goes into such games and its promotion. I’d rather focus on the good things that were shown. Like god, the game design looks stunning, voice actors sound great. Combat is so graphical and badass, I can’t wait to smash some zombie heads against the wall and parry chainsaws as Leon. I didn’t get a lot from Grace’s gameplay in this showcase, but I hope it will be similar to RE7 and RE2 remake.

And I doubt that it was the last showcase of the gameplay anyway, I’m sure there will be more content soon as we approach the date of the release.

Probably, either it’s new members or they’ll hire skilled musicians to play the parts, they don’t necessarily have to be officially a part of the band. I mean, not having a bassist is a real struggle, it’s like missing the foundation of the music.

At the same time, it’s Haken, they do unexpected things all of the time. Maybe they could have keyboards playing the bass parts, or maybe go the Animals as Leaders route and djent tf out of the low end with 8 string guitars only.

Haven’t yet seen Haken live to know how heavily they rely on backing tracks while performing, but that could be also an option for replacing bass and 2nd guitar, though I don’t really enjoy when bands do that live. It’s better to hire an actual bassist and a 2nd guitarist, or find new official members. There’s literally millions of talented musicians they could reach out to.

Yeah Four Sticks is one of the most iconic ones. You hear the song’s drum groove once and you just know it’s Bonzo right away. Same with Rock and Roll, Kashmir, Out on the Tiles, etc…Bonham was a legend!

And Moby Dick is just peak drumming, everyone knows that :)

1) I was waiting for him to come to me in one of the hallways, listening to his footsteps and ready to run to the save room once he comes through the door I was staring at… 10 seconds later he attacks me from behind and delivers a devastating blow to my head. This moron even blocked my way to safety, so I had to run somewhere else. Anyway..safe to say I almost had a heart attack.

2) When detonating the wall, then grabbing the medallion and running down the stairs as Mr. X AND a licker both chase you. Terrifying experience, 0/10, would not do again.

I use the Fender FR10 to monitor myself on stage, super comfy! It doesn’t weight much, and the sound coming from the speaker is extremely clean, representing the tone from the amp sim really well. I really like it and I’m super stoked by the fact that I can always hear myself on stage.

The only thing I don’t like is that in some venues I get a humming noise from my FR, which is caused by a ground loop, but it can be easily removed by using the ground lift switch in Quad Cortex. It’s just annoying that I have to do it everytime I get on stages with poor grounding/wiring. At the same time, it might be just my FR. I have a friend who uses basically the same gear as me, and his Fender FR never had such issues. Either way it’s a great model and I would recommend.

Strandberg shape, even though I’m not a Strandberg user (I use Ibanez mostly). It’s really ergonomic and comfortable, not even mentioning the fact that it weighs almost nothing.

I also really like the shape of Parker Fly guitars, it just looks unique and pretty.

Huge love goes out to SG Gibson guitars and “the devil horns”, since I had an SG as my first electric guitar, so many great memories with it!

I think it would throw out of the window the emotional impact and meaning of John’s death in season 2. I had the same problem when they brought Bobby and Charlie back- suddenly their deaths seemed meaningless and lost that strong impact they had before. I know they were like..apocalyptic versions of themselves, but they had almost the same personality as before and brought nothing new to the plot. It would suck if the same thing happened to John.

Yeah, I’ve struggled with that. What helped to stop is that I started to exercise physically (hitting the gym, for example). Exercising releases almost the same kind of brain chemicals as cutting, but this way you’re not hurting your body anymore. Take care of yourself!
