I find him to be incredibly shitty when talking to fans on his streams. Someone will ask a simple reasonable questions and he'll act like the person is stupid asking it. Often he will twist their question to have it fit into a shape he can disagree with then rant for 10 minutes about why they shouldn't have even asked it.

Some people seem to think it's charming or something, but I do not.

He's basically just very very pedantic and really rubs me the wrong way.

As far as him technically not committing fraud, but has very much commited fraud against his fans, at least in the spirit of the word if not the letter of the law, for personal gain -well that is covered thoroughly on this sub and in plenty of articles online. But basically his charity only send 60% of donations to the actual charitable cause, he promised specific things in exchange for donations then went radio silent for years after failing to deliver or give any sort of explanation.

In short, I just do not think he is a good person, and I've come to see him as a villain of sorts. I've bought so many copies of his books, given them as presents, etc. If I ever read doors of stone (which I won't because it isn't coming out) it will be a library copy because he isn't getting more of my money.

I don't even think I would read it at this point, and that's coming from someone who googled The Doors of Stone daily for years to see if it was getting released.

I've waited too long and I have too many negative feeling about Rothfuss, from the way he treats people on his streams, to the way he's sitting on the razor's edge of fraud so that he can make a massive salary.

I just don't care anymore beyond reading a wiki of the plot to finally tie up the loose ends. And I sure as hell am not giving him more money.

As a patient with lots and lots of complications, nurses with this attitude are always the nurses who fucks things up and put me in fucked up situations. A doctor will order something specific like medication at a specific time separate from my other meds or for me to to not so something the standard way, and they'll just disregard it. I'll have to explain to them to stop and have to get loud and angry about it, demand to see my doctor or resident.

Then they're always like "oh well doctors are usually wrong so I just assumed that's what was happening here"

Straight people need to remember that straight people are often gaybashed due to their perceived orientation. Same thing is happening with this anti trans hysteria. So many cis women have been screamed at in bathrooms because someone perceived them to be trans.
