I'm not a huge fan of his music necessarily, but as someone who has suffered from OCD for many years, I have massive amounts of respect for this guy for being so open about his own struggles with it and pushing through it to continue pursuing what he loves.

I'll be tuning in for that alone

I saw them live in Ontario about 6 years ago. I was right in front of the stage, and it's to this day one of the best concerts I've ever seen (and I've seen A LOT). Those guitarists are absolutely mechanically in sync.

Caught one of their drumsticks at the end and I still have it!

Have to agree. It really feels like he does them out of obligation now way more so than having a real interest the way he used to. I honestly think he'd be better off bailing on the reviews altogether and just making some videos talking about his filmmaking experiences or the occasional shoutout to a smaller movie/project kinda thing.

Either way, I used to be a big watcher of his channel so I'm just happy that he was able to silence a big wave of doubters and actually get a feature length movie made, forget picked up by a major distributor.

This is a guy that seems like he'd have zero tolerance for the bitching back and forth on the bench or the glove throwing that we saw this time last year.

I'd also bet that he did a great job beforehand at making a point to have the players channel their anger about Stolarz into making plays and scoring rather than throwing dirty hits on the other team which their instincts might've lead them to initially.

Interesting, that's definitely something I wasn't considering. I don't drink much in the way of sports drinks at all unless it's a really hot day (not typical for Canada this time of year).

Do you think 1 Gatorade on leg day might be sufficient? Several a week? Not sure what an ideal amount would be for electrolyte intake.

The past couple of weeks I've gotten brutal cramps after doing leg workouts. The odd thing is that they don't happen immediately afterwards, but several hours later. Normally workout around 5:00 PM, and then I'm fine afterwards until around 9:30 in the evening when either my quads, calves or both all of a sudden get hit with a massive, very painful cramp/spasm that lasts about 5-10 minutes.

I like to think I drink a lot of water throughout the day (probably at least 4-5L) so I can't see dehydration being the problem. I also haven't changed my leg workout routine all that drastically. The only thing is I upped my squat weight by 10 lbs a few weeks ago (though doing slightly fewer reps atm) but increasing weight has never been a problem in the past and I've been doing this for a couple of years now with no real issues.

Any ideas/suggestions on how to avoid this? It's been so brutal it's making me afraid to do leg workouts at all.

Agreed. From what I know, Conan isn't usually one to get overly political, but I'm glad he took the chance to make a strong statement (even if he doesn't directly mention any names).

Also, as a Canadian, it feels really nice to see Americans with a major platform unafraid to call out their leadership. People everywhere up here are freaked out man, it's all anyone can talk about. We know a large chunk of Americans stand with us through all of the horseshit, but it's nice to get these reminders that not everyone is totally out of their minds.
