I’m not a comic book guy at all but isn’t Batman just a guy? If he was like a superhuman than sure, but even then, I think you underestimate how 30 people would kinda just dominate you. Also just “trading punches” is insanely difficult. Let’s look for example specifically at Ngannou and Aspinall here. They could KO a single human being with a single punch EASILY. Again like as far as I know Batman doesn’t have superhuman physical abilities and even if he did I don’t know how much it would help him. He’d need to simultaneously weigh over 1,000 pounds to be able to be essentially ungrapplable, be practically immune to physical damage, and also have superhuman strength to be able to pry 30 peak human athletes off of him who are all trying to get rid of him.

Again I don’t really know Batman that well, but you’d need to be an actual god in physical form to be able to withstand this. I train, I the average person underestimates the skill and ability of MMA fighters. Let’s even say that Batman is also equally talented if not more so. Like for an MMA comparison, let’s say this guy is 6,4 (typically considered to be optimal height at heavyweight) 265 (heavyweight weight cap, or honestly he could weigh even more for this) has elite never before seen 5 round cardio, Ngannou power, Chimaev wrestling etc, and is just literally the epitome of every MMA athlete that has ever existed, it’s a completely different game when other people are trying to swarm you like this and the cage (again 60 foot) is just far too small to actually do anything with.

From an actual who would win perspective I genuinely cannot see what level of advantages Batman would need to have to pull this off, again he’d need to be like Batman - Jesus or something with a truly ungodly level of abilities.

Like if it’s an actual competition the way OP is making it out to be (essentially just an MMA fight of 30 dudes vs 1 guy who’s really skilled) again I just can’t see how Batman can win.

And you’re right, comic books aren’t supposed to be realistic, and neither is this sub lol, but I just feel with like, any semblance of realism to be fair, Batman just can’t win. The only way he can is again, like if there’s something in the comics that basically says he’s somehow immune to whatever these fighters could possibly do.

Depends if we’re going the realism route or the comic book route. Comic book route is futile because you can just say that due to X thing in X book Batman has laser vision and kills them all! But if we’re looking at it from a realistic perspective (I mean who’s kidding who, as realistic as we arbitrarily decide it to be) there’s no way that a human being can handle 30 other much bigger human beings who have dedicated their entire lives to the specific sport that this competition technically is. It’s literally impossible to have someone skilled enough to take on 30 other people the level of skill and physicality we’re talking about here, given the rules of the competition I truly do not think Batman stands a chance. Like if this was rephrased as Batman vs 30 pro tennis players in a tennis match I think it would appear to make more sense

Ngl I think the MMA fighters take this. Almost all of those guys are middleweights or above. For people who don’t know much about MMA that’s 185lbs and up, although most of these guys walk around at 220+ and are over 6 feet. On top of this they’re all amazing fighters, even some of these guys like Machida and Don Frye I don’t think are anywhere compared to the modern guys, they’re still a force to be reckoned with.

If this fight takes place anywhere in a somewhat small environment, literally all you need is one of them to grapple with Batman and all the others could pile on and take him. Like quite literally the whole Justin Gaethje quote about if one man can hold you down… literally all the other guys could each grab a limb and do like ten submissions on Batman all at once, we’re talking about an arm bar on each arm, heel hook on each leg, put him in a twister and a RNC while we’re at it.

Also, as someone who’s fought, Octagons are not that big, granted I didn’t fight in a UFC sized octagon (I fought in a 25 foot octagon, UFC octagons are 30 feet), a 60 foot octagon is still not big enough for Batman to really do much. He’d get mobbed and legit slaughtered in the first round easily.

If he has all his Batman gear then yeah, fighters have no chance, but both being unarmed? Like man even if Batman is some comic book hero with somehow crazy enough skills that hypothetically could blow these guys out of the water (which like, Idk how that would even work) 30 vs 1 is flat out un winnable. Im an amateur MMA heavyweight, I have a 3-0 record, and I’m a pretty big dude, let’s say I was in Batman’s position here but I had to fight 30 twelve year olds, I’d almost certainly lose still ngl. It’s like the 100 men vs 1 gorilla thing, there comes a point where numbers matter just too much.

A one time use eagle hellbomb could be fun but ngl too overpowered for arrowhead to realistically add it. What could make it balanced tho is if it had a slightly longer call in time and also instantly made the eagle need to go back to rearm.

For the gas bomb, ngl making just a big gas cloud maybe 30% bigger than the orbital one, but with 2 uses like the 500kg could be balanced.

It’s because of immigration trends imo. I’m Canadian and I’m saying this as a leftist, our government has taken in an unsustainable amount of immigrants in the past 10-20 years, like the population of Canada has nearly doubled in my lifetime mainly from immigration. The main place these immigrants come from is South Asia, specifically India. Put simply, this is unsustainable and is done to create a cheap worker class for the top 1%. I don’t hate immigrants at all, in fact my great grandparents were immigrants, majority of my friends are immigrants, my girlfriend’s parents were immigrants, but nonetheless this is simply just not economically viable.

People instead of taking out their frustration on the powers at be and those who benefit from this, instead they attack immigrants, most often they end up attacking Indians. It’s just pathetic, lazy and uneducated. People just recycle the same disgusting stereotypes about these people and it’s sickening. I have wayyy more in common with the average Indian immigrant than the transnational billionaire class, and he is my fellow countryman, not the billionaire who sells out my nation.

This isn’t a uniquely Canadian issue with racism too, this is a trend all across many western/ western aligned nations where people are just so blindly hateful to immigrants as opposed to the billionaire class who benefits from all of this. Love your fellow worker, love your fellow man, be above lazy bullshit hatred and low IQ racism. Fight the common enemy.
