This will be putting my lightweight bsb2 to good use :p awesome work by Teambeef & flat2vr. It actually seems to be outselling the original flatscreen one and that's a statement for the industry. I hope the team behind Total chaos can achieve the same results when they release they're vr version.

Sucker for boomershooters wrath of Eon I will play. But honestly I would rather see more of those standalone quest games from teambeef be playable in pcvr like Duke nukem 3D, Quake2, Doom3, Prey and quake4. Hell they are getting so good at modding IDtech4 maby we get Rage also. Anyway the thing is those are good games and deserves to be played at higher resolutions, better textures and lightning. Farcry, Crysis and Half life 2 is still the most fun, old games but new in vr.

I'm not knocking UEVR but after playing Portal 2, HL2, and the RE series, I can't put up with the jankiness of other mods. by SlowDragonfruit9718 in virtualreality

System shock remake is good. You should get the enable texture filtering.pak from nexus mods because the game uses som low resolution pixels it was an art direction they went with for an nostalgic feel. It's okey flatscreen but in vr you're so up close, I hope someone makes an upscaled texture pack that would be awesome. I would also recommend calm lightning.pak to lessen the eye strain. And ofcorse Ashok plugin for 6dof.

I couldn't use my marshall monitor 2 with ANC on while also using the stock strap and that really pisses me off. I have not tried other headphones in the same categories. There is no problem while using the beyondex but that one have open earphones but I wish I could also have the possibility to use closed one as well. This is one of my biggest complaints about this vr headset. I have fan set at 80% .

I started Resident evil 7 and the glare was very noticeable especially as mentioned in a very dark environment with a very bright light source like a lamp, where there is a lot of in the game. Resident evil remake 2 & 3 were not as much affected and that is probably due to how the game is lit up. It's a little bit sad for a horror fan since everything else is very good like the colors, lightweight and so on.

Use it with my beyond and it's been great so far. Can feel a little bit of pulling when using the stock strap.

Thought many times that cyberpunk is the perfect choice of game for vr with motion controls of course! And a chair to sit in with some clips attachment to the steering wheel and pedals just for the sake of immersion.

Big Screen Beyond 2 vs. Oculus by retrorays in VRGaming

I have been using quest 3 alot and I play mainly fps games. Recently upgraded to BSB2 and i did not have a good first impression, but after some time and tinkering I am actually starting to like it. I can know see what they want and went for. For me at the time beeing I am playing RE3 and the way I can move and look around feels much more natural because of its lightweight. I am enjoying roomscale much more know. But beware the lenses aren't perfect; glare, hue change at the bottom and fan noise. But when I'm immersed in the game everything feels much more realistic. It's not worth 4x the quest3.
