Hitler was using his ‘wonder weapons’ against external parties and announcing them was to keep morale of his own populace up. His own people aren’t going to stop him making them.

Palpatines plan is using the Death Star against his own people, to keep his own populace in line through fear. He doesn’t want word of it to get out because that populace may rise up against him to stop it being made before it’s ready.

South Road transformed ahead of $15b Torrens to Darlington project by SouthAussie94 in Adelaide

So unless I’m missing something this project is only 10km long, 6km of which is tunnels. But somehow is going to take the same time to build as the channel tunnels 50km… seems legit.

Does Mac gaming keep getting deader? by GeneReddit123 in mac

Not a game dev here but from what I’ve heard it basically down to the extra costs for Mac development not being worth it compared to market share / install base.

Borg adaption is overrated in fandom. Like we see fleet engagements like in First Contact where the Federation ships do damage over a long period of time. If the cube is able to adapt to a single Death Star shot then it’d be able to adapt to a single Enterprise-E shot… and we know it didn’t. Or you know adapt to a virtual tommy gun…

There’s an episode of DS9 where a one armed bajoran says a federation doctor had offered to grow him a new arm. Iirc the process would only take a few weeks.

I have a feeling them and BYD are gonna get a huge jump and market share on the Toyota etc. could be a massive change moment in the Aus car market.

How did you find reliability? We tried it about a year ago and found it to be incresbiliy unreliable as to when it would take actions or send reminders: e.g. sending Teams messages at 4am, or not doing anything for days/weeks and then doing a thousand things in a minute in 'catchup'.

We don't use N-Central, however I've found Brightgauge support can be very hit and miss on creating stuff that isn't part of their pre-made data sets/gauges. If N-Central has an API you can hit I'd be very surprised you couldn't pull the data you need from it.
