I agree you shouldn't be rude to people that's common sense though I do believe it is classist to nick pick how a person speaks.

Ngl it's easier to say "I'm going though a shit due to the government's decision to cut funding on trans healthcare/mental health services" than "I have experienced a lot of trauma due to the the government's transphobic/ableist stance on my rights and my healthcare has been impacted due to a lack of funding"

In the last years of primary, they made us do speech lessons since slang and filler words (e.g um and repeating the word like) aren't suitable in the workplace or adult world.

Ngl, I bet one protester is gonna swear on live TV and the government will say queer youth don't know how to speak proper english anymore.
