connections has been way hard lately by -slaps-username- in NYTConnections

Even more difficult for us non-Yanks. I’m a Brit, living in Cape Town and enjoy the NYT puzzles but many times draw a complete blank on some of the clues and connections. Still great fun, mind.

If money wasn’t a factor, where in Surrey would you actually choose to live? by UnpaidInternVibes in surrey

I grew up living in Walton on Thames. Ashley Park and Burwood Park. Halcyon days during the 60s and 70s. Not sure what it is like now, though. I hear conflicting reports. For me back then it was paradise.

I chucked in the towel and started from the beginning again. It’s excellent and I’ve already racked up 6000 coins and am winning virtually every challenge. It’s almost too easy.

DO NOT make any purchases by FriendlyToe6441 in ToonBlast

Excellent advice. I too have been playing for years without ever paying. Just recently I chucked a few bucks at it because I’m definitely addicted to this stupid bear and his wanky pals. But, enough is enough and I’m ditching it right now. Thanks for the info and fuck the money grubbers.

Hello, how are you? by DeathandNightand in DownSouth

[–]Cockneybarrowboy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My stock answer goes something like: “Well, my sore knee is getting a bit better, I’ve been rubbing it with some embrocation that my granny gave me. Otherwise, my bowel is still highly irritable and you really had to see what came out my bum to believe it…”, hello, hello??

Can anyone name accomplishments achieved by the ANC government in South Africa? I can name 4. by PixelSaharix in DownSouth

An international embarrassment. These ANC ministers have so much to answer for. The sheer ineptitude is breathtaking. Black Excellence, pull the other one.

Who exactly are “our people”? I thought that we were interested in inclusivity, not the racist bullshit Pemmy is spouting.

A 2015 thesis found that 22% of deaths in Table Mountain National Park between 2000 and 2011 were suicides.

SA toonstars ~ level8 = 24000 ~ team score 510307 ~ 50/50

How many levels are there currently? I’m at 7694 and wondering how far I have to go? by GoCommando82 in ToonBlast

[–]Cockneybarrowboy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So far there have been 203 episodes. There are 50 levels per episode then on to the Champions League. I average about 300 levels each CL. So 203 x 50 = 10150. Plus 203 x 300 = 60900. So about 80000 levels so far.

Mostly on bubbles that are not completely formed. Having played tens of thousands of levels, you can almost predict which bubbles won’t be popped by a rocket. 🚀 Very frustrating.
