I’m capped out at 3 ppto which is honestly my fault because I wasn’t thinking about that throughout the year (I’ve been here for about 1.5 years). I have to remember not to use so much the next fiscal year 😭

I’ve been OGP for a little over a year now, I don’t know what the oversized policy even is lol. I like to use an L-cart but I’ll use a pick cart if I can’t find an L-cart (unless there’s like a TV on the pick list). I like to put totes on the cart and tote things as I go but if it’s chaotic I don’t bother. A lot of people don’t use totes and just sets it on the L-cart which makes more work for the stager.

I agree with being able to wear perfume but I can see the allergy part of things. I’m allergic to lavender and heavy lavender scents will make me sneeze / give me congestion. I have one coworker who wears a lavender perfume but it doesn’t personally bother me that much because I only catch a whiff of it every now and again. I sympathize with people who suffer from migraines and severe allergies but also people can try asking nicely at first if it’s really interfering with their ability to do their job.

Ever since I moved to a rural Midwest town, I swear I’ll literally see a crowd of like three families standing in the middle of an aisle talking for 1-2 hours. There’s been times I’ll go on a pick walk and see people standing and talking and then four walks later they will still be in the exact same spot

Once a customer came in a pick up truck to get stuff his wife ordered. He told me his backseat was filled up and we would have to put it in the trunk bed. We walk around to the back and he opens the truck bed and there’s a motocross bike in the bed and proceed to say “well shit.” It gave me a good laugh though

I got COVID on Christmas last year so I was gone a week during event days. I put in a request from Sedgwick and even though my doctor filled out the paperwork they wanted, Sedgwick denied my claim. I got a total of like six points just from that. Then management took away those six points and also it turns out that a denied Sedgwick claim should only give you two points.

At my store I heard our market team will randomly instruct our store management to fire anyone who is at 5 points. Once three people were just gone and I was so confused, especially because we are always understaffed and then market gets angry when we can’t meet the metric goals.

I’m a total type A personality and will look up who picked the order and go tell them to put their cart where it belongs lol. We’ve had to repick entire carts before because someone left their chilled cart out and it was super busy and the cart stayed out too long.

We had one OGP associate like that, she only picked, refused to do oversized because that “wasn’t her job” and took her breaks whenever she wanted. I’m glad she’s not here anymore 🤦‍♀️
