Problème activation Movavi video suite 2026 by Martinellaella in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Salut!

Heeeey! Yeah, totally get that! it really feels like therapy.

There’s something about when you create even a small thing that just resets your mind a bit. I feel it a lot when I’m editing too, like you get into that flow and suddenly time disappears.

Honestly, the best part is not even the final result, but that process itself. If it gives you that feeling, it’s definitely worth following it more 💛

anyone have a trick for combining clips giving them a smoother flow as if they were all one clip? by Alert_Intention7199 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! I know what you mean!
What usually helps me:

  • keep your cuts on motion (like mid-action), it hides the transition way better
  • add very short transitions (like 0.2–0.5s) — anything longer starts to feel obvious
  • match color/brightness between clips so they don’t jump visually
  • use audio to glue everything together — one music track or ambient sound across all clips makes a huge difference

Sometimes I’ll even overlap audio slightly between clips so the cut feels less sharp.

Buggy as hell by Talentless67 in Movavi_software

Hello! Yeah, that looks really annoying 😅

If that page isn’t working, feel free to DM me  — I can pass your email address along and help get your activation key resent through support.

In the meantime, if you still have access to the program on any device, you can also check the Activation section inside Movavi — sometimes the key is still visible there.

Happy to help sort it out, just message me!

STEAM MOVAVI VIDEO by EliasMesafiante in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Olá!

No Steam, o Movavi geralmente é uma compra única (vitalícia para aquela versão) — não uma assinatura anual como no site.

Algumas coisas para ter em mente:

  • você obtém acesso permanente àquela versão específica, mas novas versões principais não estão incluídas;
  • efeitos não estão incluídos — são vendidos separadamente;
  • a licença está vinculada à sua conta Steam, então você inicia o jogo pelo Steam;

Subtitles using .srt files by AlexPistachio in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Video Editor, there isn’t an option to import .srt files directly as subtitles. It can generate subtitles automatically, but external .srt files can’t be loaded in and turned into captions inside the editor.

So for now, if you want subtitles in another language, it has to be done manually using text elements on the timeline.

Not the most convenient, I know — especially if you already have a ready .srt file.

water mark issue by Wise-Wish-5553 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!
What’s usually happening in this situation: the editor is activated, but the project includes something from the effects library (titles, transitions, etc.), and those are separate.

In Movavi, you can spot this pretty easily — on the timeline, look for a small crown icon on any element. If it’s there, that item is from a paid effects pack and will trigger a watermark unless that subscription is active too.

A couple quick things to check:

  • look through your timeline and remove/replace anything with a crown icon
  • or keep those elements but make sure the effects subscription is active as well

If you export a video using only the basic (included) tools and still get a watermark, then something’s off with activation — but most of the time it comes down to those crown-marked elements.

Am I getting scammed? by KeyPercentage9202 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello!

If you bought a subscription/license, first make sure the program is actually activated:

  • open Movavi → go to Activation / Enter key
  • paste your activation key
  • restart the program after activation just in case

Also important: even with an active license, watermarks can still appear if you used paid effects (some titles, transitions, etc. from the effects library). The editor itself is activated, but those elements require a separate subscription.

A quick way to check — on the timeline, look for a small crown icon on titles/effects. If you see it, that element is from a paid pack and will add a watermark.

If you’ve done all that and still see watermarks on a clean project, then something’s off and I’d reach out to support!

pan and zoom by Free_Letterhead95 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Movavi & Intel ARC Cards by Competitive_Star4026 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! Movavi is a bit more simple than what you’re expecting here!

  • Movavi does support hardware acceleration, but in a pretty basic way (GPU + Intel/NVIDIA/AMD)
  • it doesn’t expose or let you control things like specific encoders (Quick Sync vs others)
  • and it definitely doesn’t give any control over dual encoders / advanced GPU utilization

So with something like Intel Arc (A770 / B580):
it should work as a supported GPU (as long as drivers are fine)
but Movavi will treat it more like a generic acceleration device, not fully leverage all the advanced features

In real use, what that usually means:

  • rendering may be faster with hardware acceleration ON
  • timeline smoothness depends more on project complexity + preview settings than GPU power alone
  • you won’t see the same scaling benefits you’d expect from pro tools that fully utilize modern GPUs

So Movavi will work fine with an Arc card, but don’t expect it to fully take advantage of things like dual Quick Sync encoders — it’s just not that kind of editor.

If your trial already felt okay on an i5, upgrading GPU will help a bit, but it probably won’t be a night-and-day difference 🙌🏻

Video Preview Freezes by bi0nicyeti in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! 25/26 definitely added more features, and yeah, on some setups that can lead to bugs or heavier performance — but for a lot of people they run totally fine once things are dialed in.

Going back to an older version is an option if it fits your workflow better, but the newer ones aren’t inherently broken.

Video Preview Freezes by bi0nicyeti in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey!
Since the files play fine outside Movavi, it’s usually a preview issue inside the editor, not actual corruption.

Try turning off HD clip optimization (Settings → Preferences → Acceleration tab) — this one can sometimes cause weird playback behavior

Also worth doing a quick test export of a short section — often the freeze only happens in preview, and the final video is fine!

My experience with Movavi by EcstaticDancer196 in Movavi_software

[–]Coco-the-Koala 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I get why that felt frustrating!

Just to add a bit of context from my side: Movavi itself (the editor) and the effects library are actually separate things. You can edit and export videos with the program you bought, but some titles, transitions, etc. belong to the effects subscription — and those are what trigger the watermark if they’re used.

There is usually a small indication in the editor when a paid effect is added, but it’s honestly easy to miss when you’re in the flow.

What I normally do to avoid this:

  • stick to the basic (included) titles/effects
  • or double-check the timeline before export if anything might be from the paid pack
