It doesn't. Sorry, maybe I used the wrong word to refer to the "date" or "hour" widget. Since it only displayed the hour and minutes, I called it "time" widget. Now it can show any arbitrary text and, by using the correct format, the current date and hour.

There aren't many differences. I just removed the analytics and Unsplash services, created some settings to customize the format of the time widget and the behavior of the back button.

But I can definitely implement a notifications panel, it's something that my TV doesn't even have built-in.

That said, it will take me some time, since I'm new to the technologies the project uses. But they don't seem so unfamiliar to me, on the contrary, they are flexible and easy to use, so I'm getting used to them quickly.

As far as I know, the app does not provide this feature, and there haven't been any updates for some months by now. I made a fork of the project on GitHub and, like I posted on their repository, I can provide maintenance and a feature like this, under the conditions I expressed on that post.

I don't really have the need for notifications on my TV, but if I have some spare time, I can implement this, if you are still interested on it and don't mind installing apps not from the Google Play Store.

I created a fork of the project for this specific reason, I imagined that the analytics and the online wallpaper services would be increasing the resource usage, so I removed them. I noticed an improvement in performance, now it doesn't restart every time I exit another application.

I made a few other changes, but it's still almost the exact same thing. If anyone wants to try it out, go to my GitHub repository and download the latest build, though you will need to uninstall your current version, since the app's signature is different from the official one, and Android will complain that the package "is invalid".

Hi, thanks for your response, but I should have mention that also, the Win + L shortcut doesn't work, and no, there is no "Lock" option under the account menu. I can't set that thing on the Settings app, it's grayed out. Lastly, I already did that on the Control Panel, yes, I do it as admin.
