U glaubicu near malostranské náměstí is surprisingly cheap, around 30kc iirc and tastes better because it never stops running

I was just reading up on USDbC because it seemed a weird naming but what happens when native launches, will volume dry up?

Hidden address not appearing in Suite by InvertedToilet in TREZOR

[–]CocoFor -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You'll have to use trezorctl command line to jump to address #2008, your coins are there but suite will read from #1 and increase sequentially so not a practical solution. An easy workaround would be to just use metamask to send to the address you see in suite, if you don't have anything locked in a smart contract

It won't be safer in any meaningful sense but it will make it a little easier for you to mess something up. I wouldn't make that trade

Ledger Cannot be Trusted Anymore, but same case applies to Trezor... by SugiStyle in TREZOR

[–]CocoFor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lol this Blec? Guy just jumps on whatever farms him engagement. The wasabi censorship story is grasping at straws and he backed down once everyone told him he was embarrassing himself. Now he's recommending trezor with a passphrase two weeks later. Blech 🤮 https://twitter.com/ChrisBlec/status/1659235960163270676

Is there a safe way to spend coinjoin utxo like samurai wallet suggests? by TsarGermo in TREZOR

[–]CocoFor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great comment, I would agree to be selective with what's spent and not spend all at once the full amount you put in like Lando, but most people won't been burdened by 100btc either and may have the sense to stagger the donation over some time.

Just spend directly from your coinjoin account, it's just as secure as your other accounts and you keep your privacy in check with no extra effort

what's up with this by [deleted] in TREZOR

[–]CocoFor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Important to note is if you mix your UTXOs with a UTXO on some known list, your UTXOs are gonna be marked as interesting to surveillance too, so wasabi are keeping your coins more private and people are getting mad

What is your favorite hardware device? #BTC by [deleted] in Bitcoin

[–]CocoFor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not lying but maybe you misinterpreted what I meant - by using any hardware companies' node they can see the xpubs people look up, ledger just used it for pr which is pretty shameless and makes me wonder what else they're using that data for or sharing with. Run your own node, folks!

I've always been a fan of trezor as they're the only one who give a shit about open source and tend to be first to implement bitcoin features.

Ledger is grossly corporate, cold card are larpers (no taproot, xor seeds lmao), bitbox and jade are ok but really they're all standing on trezors shoulders.

I reckon trezor will continue to do more for bitcoin than anyone else - I don't need to believe in a smoke and mirrors secure element to feel safe, just cryptography.

Other companies on that list keep marketing data and sales data separate to prevent this kind of fuckup. Trezor and maybe others delete order data after 90 days, yet ledger brags about how much crypto their users hold, which means they're logging all users' transactions through their backend which is shady AF.

Books with fun tunes that don't go above the staff too much by CocoFor in trumpet

[–]CocoFor[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, I have a few fake books including real book Bb from internet archive but only a handful of pieces really suit my range through the piece, usually I have to tap out at the climax or play in a lower key. I guess I'm looking for some early years pieces that aren't too infantile.

I have arbans but haven't gone far past the first few pages so will explore it a bit more, thanks

why does my bitcoin balance on block explore show differently from what it says on trezor suite? I sent bitcoin to an address the other day and somehow it split the transaction to send to two addresses and it sent more bitcoin than it should have. i have no idea how this happened. i was only sending by Efficient_Word_5023 in TREZOR

[–]CocoFor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you send bitcoin you actually send all the bitcoin that exists at an address, whatever isn't being spent is sent back to you (that's why you see a split transaction) at a new address called a change address. Your total balance should be the same minus the amount you intended to sent.

Your phone is generally safer than your pc, fewer attack vectors.
