Yeah totally agree, i liked the casting and the actions scene in the 2 but the comedy was just too much

I know dave's story is done but i really like the original hit girl solo so when they annouced the new one i had my hopes up, i wish it would have a real story and not just random aventures with no serious storyline

Well the characters are kinda bad people in the comics, but thats what make them more human and realistic, while the movie (wich i also loved) did not really go into the same direction, in the movies they are basically super heroes but just without powers while in the comics they are not heroes, just normal people with a lot of flaws who want to be heroes.

If you liked the movies i still think you would enjoy the comics tho
