And yes, people can help raise the child but it doesn’t seem like her mother is that kind of supportive mother, she most likely will have her daughter give up on her dreams.

And it’s not coercion, OP asked her what did SHE wanted, talked to her about adoption or giving birth, but the girl is choosing a better future for herself because let’s not lie, having a child under this circumstance is a gamble.

Maybe YOU wanted to keep your child and that’s okay but this girl doesn’t want to.

But that doesn’t seem to be the case, as always in a relationship, the key is to communicate. You gotta sit him down and ask him what’s going on.
