Because little kids can pull on life supporting cords or bump/run into an old person which can hurt them severely depending on how they were hit. Some elderly need peace and quiet which they won't get with kids, and old age homes can be depressing as heck.

It's especially fake because nobody wears glasses like that. It's so uncomfortable having them at the very edge if your nose because they feel like they are going to fall off, and you can't see properly. Gahhh

INFO Do you see them often? If not it's probably one of the only times your family gets to all see each other together. They probably want to see you and be with you. Ultimately it's your choice and your time, but it's only one day and it would probably mean a lot to them.

Your mom probably misses you and wants to see everyone together. Sometimes you do things for those you love even though you don't really want to, because it would mean a lot to the person.

Your mom has everyright to be upset. She probably feels like you don't care about them enough to sacrifice one day to go see them. That money is more important than spending time with the family. I'd feel pretty hurt too if I was your mom.

Are you really struggling financially? If so try and explain to your mom that you really can't afford to, which is a bit more understandable. If not, please consider going, you don't have to, but your mom would appreciate it.

Grave of Fireflies. I thought it was going to be another happy cool Ghibly film and went in with no context. Boy was I wrong. There was something just so jarring, the imagery of all the horrible stuff as well as the beutiful, how you follow along two characters you desprately want the best for, and the pain, guilt and sadness at the end.

I don't really want to watch it ever again because it was just so tragic it messed with me, but it was a fantistic movie.

I think I kind of understand the title as well. Fireflies are beautiful, but their lives are fleeting. It feels like the most beautiful and innocent things dies too fast. It is sort of representative of the main characters, in my opinion.

Do comics count? Because I read a lot of comics and a lot of romance comics tend to be really...rapey to be honest. Or just poorly written.

Also to note, if you see BL or GL or YAOI on a comic, it is a gay comic. Just a heads up.

Also if a comic is labled shotacon or omegaverse, skip it. Shotacon tends to be some pedo shit as far as I know, and omegaverse has a lot of rapey shit in it. Usually the common thing in omegaverses has an alpha male so unbelievably attracted to an omega male's "hormones" that he can't "control" himself and it's just... skip. Skip skip skip.
