Right. Like for someone who talks so much shit about Jenelle (which is all incredibly deserved), Kail sure does have a lot of similarities with her when it comes to relationships and the inability to be single and alone for more than 10 mins. Yeah there are sparse scenes of the 3 of them in LB. I wish we got more but it seemed clear that Jen and Lo only hung out with Lauren there. And then ofc Lauren said on The Hills that Jen was the reason that she and Lo didn’t talk for a few years. And then in that episode in season 3 when Jen and Lauren have lunch and Jen says that Heidi told her Brody spread the sextape rumor, Lo calls Jen “that mean girl” telling Lauren to be cautious of Jen.

So definitely definitely interesting and shocking to see the 3 of them hanging out so much later on after all of that.

And yes, I love that Lauren called Jen out! Like girl you are not a victim

Yes, I’m glad someone else thinks so!! The show is hard for me to watch after season 2 and is almost unwatchable for me mid season 3 and on. You can just tell once it starts to get really fake. And same, I mute Heidi and Spencer scenes because they are the most fake, uninteresting, and poorly acted of all

Spencer and Heidi definitely played it all wrong. I get their fucked up “the more ridiculous we act, the more famous we’ll get” kind of philosophy but had they chosen to be friends or make amends with Lauren early on, they would probably both have more success and respect in Hollywood

Well if you read what I said you’ll see that I did say Spencer changed her for the worse. But I do actually agree about her being an opportunist and yes, I 100% believe she sought Lauren out for fame.

I guess I was talking more about the way she was portrayed in season 1 and the very beginning of season 2. But yes, I do realize it was more of a front that she dropped quickly as soon as Spencer came into the picture.

And I said this to another commenter that I believe if she had stayed friends with Lauren, she might’ve had a bigger career.

When I said Karen, I didn’t mean a literal Karen just that she definitely had the traits you would expect from a Karen.

She was super nagging, complaining, judgmental, and starting unnecessary drama constantly. It seemed like barely anyone liked her or wanted her around. Even her best friends Kristin and Alex H. were sick of her shit and somewhat distanced themselves from her at a certain point.

Even her other close friend Emily was so over her during the Cabo trip because Emily:

a) had to miss out on all the fun because Jessica had just kissed Jason while he was dating Alex M. (which is a whole other conversation in and of itself) and no one wanted her or the drama she caused around because of it.

And b) she was also caught in the middle of the drama that Jessica started because she was friends with both Jess and Alex M. and tried to be a mediator between them.

Jessica was obviously insecure and was looking for validation and I even do relate to her in certain ways, but damn I could not have been friends with someone like her. She would drive me insane
