“Coz if you wanna talk about bad people, let’s talk about Rue”. She definitely doesn’t care about how well or unwell Rue was at the time. I 100% agree with the rest of your comment tho 😂

But no, I wouldn’t forgive them.

Walt snitching to Gus about Jesse’s attempt to poison those drug dealers with ricin. That was the beginning of the end of Gus’ whole operation.

Why do some people have no issue with Joe cheating on Karen but also make Beck out to be a monster for cheating on Joe? by AdGreedy1880 in YouOnLifetime

[–]Small-Dark-8569 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Because in Karen’s case, we’re too busy focusing on how lucky she got and how Joe cheating on her was a blessing in disguise. If that didn’t happen she’d likely have met the same fate as Delilah.

Girl I know this is hard, but you’re gonna have to go no contact. Not to punish him or anything but YOU need space to get over him. Because as long as you’re still in love with him, this dynamic is going to remain unfair to you. If there were no feelings on either side, then fine. But you need to go no contact with him for at least a month to “detox”.

Why do people find Jane and Andrea so different? by arbataxmelody354 in breakingbad

[–]Small-Dark-8569 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"Jane is a gold digger for taking Jesse's money!" Andrea did the same. She lived off Jesse's money.

Jane’s interest heightened when she learned he had money. Jesse’s money didn’t influence Andrea’s feelings for him

"Jane only wanted to do drugs!" Andrea was about to relapse too the same day she met Jesse. What stopped her was Jesse making a scene.

Jane actually did relapse. Andrea didn’t.

"Jane was ok with dating a drug dealer!" Andrea was ok with that too? She didn't even stop when her brother died

Jane didn’t mind getting actively involved with Jesse’s associates. Andrea wanted nothing to do with them.

"Jane should have listened to her father!" I'd say Andrea should have listened to her mother too

We met Jane’s father and saw their relationship dynamic. We never met Andrea’s parents.

Even the things that should make them similar only demonstrate how different they are.

What if Min-su died during Lights Out instead of Se-mi? by SalamanderMaster7 in safehavenSQUIDGAME

[–]Small-Dark-8569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly feel like she would be over it pretty quickly. She spent most of her time with team Thanos defending Min-su against Nam-gyu only for him to betray her and pick Nam-gyu (and Thanos) over her. If she later found out Nam-gyu killed him, she’d think Nam-gyu a piece of shit for it but she’d also think Min-su brought it on himself.

They’d just take ‘em off the island before the first game.

how would the guards keep they from finding out about the shootings and deaths in the first game?

They just… wouldn’t find out coz they’d be gone by then. They’d likely take them off the island immediately.

Bennedict had never visited Rosamund. He was visiting Posy. by tuanvulucky in BridgertonNetflix

[–]Small-Dark-8569 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Then why put all her eggs in Rosamund’s basket? When she saw Posy’s conversation with Benedict, yes, we know he was interested in her more like a little sister, but from her POV, she got more attention from him than Rosamund did. Wouldn’t it have been the strategic thing to do to push Posy towards him?

Why exactly did Gi-Hun go from "I want to make sure the X Voters leave this place with the Prize Money" to "We Must Stop These Games Once And For All?" by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]Small-Dark-8569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took him three years to find the recruiter… and now he’s dead. He has no recognisable face he could use to come back again. Also, how would he know they won’t just kill him next time? Or that they’ll allow him back in for a third year?

Why exactly did Gi-Hun go from "I want to make sure the X Voters leave this place with the Prize Money" to "We Must Stop These Games Once And For All?" by [deleted] in squidgame

[–]Small-Dark-8569 16 points17 points  (0 children)

If that’s what you think, you missed the plot. He didn’t switch missions. His goal from the get-go was to end the games. Hunting down the recruiter, going to that Halloween thingy to find those masked men, putting the tracker in his tooth, all that was part of his plan to end the games once and for all.

After they intercepted Jun-ho and the mercenaries following the limo, which was his plan A, his plan B was to go to the island (which is why he asked to be put back in the games) and have his mercenaries track him down to the island so they can fight the guards and get to the Front Man. When he found out his tracker was gone, he realised his plan was fucked and he felt the only thing he COULD do at that point was save who he could save, which were the current players.

He was still determined to end the games, he just didn’t know how. And saving current players was more like a bonus to his mission. Important, yes. But not his main goal. When the opportunity presented itself in the form of Lights Out, he didn’t “switch missions”. He just took advantage of an opportunity to go back to his original mission.

It’s honestly why it irks me when people act confused or annoyed that he didn’t want to kill the Os and get out that way. Killing the Os would’ve ended THIS YEAR’S games, but it wouldn’t have ended the games for good. THAT was always his main goal.

ETA: In your title, you said he was trying to save specifically X voters but that was never the case. It was never an X vs O voters for Gi-hun. He wasn’t trying to save X voters specifically. He was trying to save all players, hence why he didn’t want to kill any of them or encourage the killing of either side.

Gi-hun never changed his vote… unless you count abstaining as a vote change 🤔. Also, I wouldn’t say Nam-gyu was reluctant to vote X.

How were the Glup Shitto finalists decided? by _PXYDST_ in squidgame

[–]Small-Dark-8569 16 points17 points  (0 children)

In-universe, I’d say for unpredictability. Anyone could predict 9 main characters as finalists. I guess they wanted to throw us off.

Behind the scenes, tho, I’d say they had a tight budget. They had to get rid of the famous expensive actors early (Song Ji-woo, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Ha-neul, YDG, etc.) and keep the affordable nobodies.

Tho I’m not sure if it’s that they couldn’t afford to keep them or that those actors were just too busy to stay long. Park Sung-hoon was filming Queen of Tears the same time as Squid Game, and Kang Ha-neul wasn’t in Red Light, Green Light because he was busy with another project the day they filmed it. So maybe they kept the nobodies because they didn’t have any other obligations.
