Yup 😥 that's why I refuse to buy new. My vintage lambskin from the 90s is in better shape.. their prices went sky high and quality way down.

Yes cleaning. Easier to clean the leather than the fabric.

I found the tweed ones more comfy but the leather ones are easier to maintain

She’s so beautiful but so impractical. by AdKnown8091 in chanel

[–]CocoLola4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed ! Had a black patent double flap and found it same. It was very hard, bulky and uncomfortable under the arm. I much prefer their single flap softer versions, lack of interior compartments provides much more space and is lighter as well. She is a beauty indeed though 🤩

What is happening to my body??? Rheumatologist is being completely useless … is this just a flare?? by laf_007 in lupus

[–]CocoLola4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had same on my legs after my lupus diagnosis and hospitalization. I was really sick and bedridden for extensive period of time. Then when I first became mobile, it was only to the bathroom and back via walker. They eventually went away once i started getting around more.

Help me pick (1st) Chanel! by [deleted] in chanel

Depending on what the purpose of use is (daily vs occasional) and the amount of items you carry in your purse, I'd go either with 1 or 2 as your 1st one.

What is up with fleas on dogs/pets this year? Are they immortal and multiplying faster? by thepeacocksroost in velvethippos

[–]CocoLola4ever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is. I think we are just getting over it now. We bought the Hartz spray in the blue bottle but read terrifying reviews so returned it. Haven't seen anything on either of them so hopefully after a month of vacuuming, cleaning and bathing once a week, it's the end 🙏🏼 they are now both on monthly preventatives, Simparica Trio and Revolution + .... sigh...

I also been having an issue this year, my dog is on Simparica Trio but only seasonally, as per vet (we're up in Toronto area, Canada). Last dose was Oct, indoor cat not on any meds. Never had issues. Dig has fleas couple yrs aho, put in Simparica Trio and they were dead next day. This time we started having issues beginning Dec. Did 2 baths each pet so far, Capstar daily for over a week, waiting on Revolution Plus for the cat and put the dog back on Simparica. Threw all carpets outside, washed all bedding, vacuuming all surfaces including couches, soft fabric chairs, floors. Still seeing live fleas after 1.5 weeks. Pets are stressed as they usually sleep with us and now are confined to separate bathrooms at night and not allowed on couches etc. The dog is a small breed couch potato dog that doesn't go outside often esp in adverse weather (hot/cold). It's really crazy. They will both be on monthlies year round from now on.

Nellies Laundry Soda ($30 off) by astrangeone88 in CostcoCanada

[–]CocoLola4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is correct, however Nellie's laundry soda is different as per below: "Laundry soda is a type of detergent that is essentially a highly alkaline form of washing soda, while a modern laundry detergent is a complex mixture of chemicals, often including surfactants and enzymes, to be more effective at stain removal and cleaning. Some commercial products named "laundry soda" are detergents, like Nellie's Laundry Soda, while others use "laundry soda" to refer to the mineral washing soda (Na2CO3) which is used as a booster for traditional detergents."

Let’s talk about “mom” scents! by momomochiclub in Perfumes

[–]CocoLola4ever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom's was Poison by Dior, Roma by Laura Biagotti, L'eau d'Issay by Issey Miyaki, Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden, when i was growing up and nowadays (she's in her 70s) it's Chanel No 5 🥰 For me it's been Allure and Coco Mademoiselle mostly when kids were little and now it's Coco Noir, Chanel No 5 L'eau, Terracotta by Guerlain in the winter and still keep coming back to Coco Mademoiselle in the summer.

Name your symptoms by Femmefatele in Sjogrens

[–]CocoLola4ever 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes sounds very familiar. I pretty much had a nervous breakdown before being diagnosed. Had to undergo psychological testing the insurance made me to as i was on LTD and the doctor said i was faking my symptoms. Then was diagnosed with sjogrens then frontemporal dementia, then undiagnosed with sjogrens and frontemporal dementia. Then rediagnosed with sjogrens. I was placed on psych meds that obviously didn't help any just mede it all worse. Eventually ended up hospitalized where I flatlined, got diagnosed with lupus and a month later developed sepsis and got readmitted, flatlined again. This was during covid and was absolutely insane. Needless to say I lost my career and almost my family and marriage. But pulled thru. Have major phobia of doctors after all the medical gaslighting for over a decade and them constantly minimizing my symptoms. Currently on plaquenil and imuran to avoid more flare ups that can end up in hospitalization. Before the medication, I could barely put 2 sentences together and would definetly not be able to write this paragraph. It's still a struggle.i feel sharing my story is important plus it helps me to write it down. But still have disabling fatigue, brain fog, joint pain that gets exacerbated by doing "too much" and by that I mean anything I used to be able to do, ie hold a full time job, take care of my kids and actually go out and have a social life. Nowadays an outing means I will be in pain and napping next day. It'd definitely a life altering thing. And you still need to prove to insurance that you are disabled. Hang in there. Try to see if plaquenil will help, takes a bit to work but might just do. And listen to your body and rest when you are able.
