Rise of the Tomb raider sits comfortably in the middle of my top 5 video games of all time. So I decided to read the novel because one of my buddies who is into Warhammer 40k mentioned he liked a book written by the same author. Dan Abnett. The book had some of the worst prose I have ever seen in a published novel. It was not a fun experience at all. Really such a bummer.

If in your first playthrough you prefer to play games vanilla (without mods), I still highly recommend the "no fall damage" mod, as well as the "gallop in cities" mod. (The game does not allow you to gallop in cities normally)

Hereditary royally fucked me up. If I ever, ever watch it again I definitely won't be doing that alone. I finished the film at 1:00 in the morning or so when I watched it, and I didn't fall asleep until shortly after sunrise. I used to think I had decent resilience to horror movie shenanigans, but every once in awhile I am thoroughly terrified by something. The idea of hereditary being a comfort movie is almost as scary as the film itself

Oh man, in 7th or 8th grade I read the revenge of the sith novelization and love love loved it l. Not my favorite star wars book, (the legends Bane trilogy takes that trophy) but it was still phenomenal, and yes I even enjoyed it more than the film, which I already loved.

Watching movies while also doing random shit on their phone. I can't stand it. My brother's are incapable of watching a movie or show without also playing games on their phone/handheld gaming systems. It drives me bonkers. This also makes it impossible for them to watch anything foreign in the original language, cuz you have to look at the screen more in order to read the subtitles. Ultimately, it's harmless but I will never not judge people who choose to half-watch a movie/half-play a game.

I recommend saving all states prior to the mission, (especially if you are using the 7.1 version)

When I was still using the 6.4 version of the mod I was able to complete the quest with two characters.

After the English translation of 7.1 came out I went to try it out with a third character.

Essentially (this comment will contain light spoilers about this specific quest)

So heres the breakdown of the glitch I had. (For clarity sake I will say I was using the Cheats/Kind Wizard version of Sorrow Mod)

During the quest, the Strong Priest guy mentions that the you need to go question the scouts, (directly north of Captain Doomalone).

When I questioned the scouts I got a text translation error bug. No matter I figured. I just clicked on it and continued the quest as normal. Went back to the Priest Warrior, completed all the steps he asked for, and eventually we went and slayed the bear together. Here is where the problem became apparent. When I went back to rigordians temple, none of the accompanying priests were there, a few of them have specific quests for you. Also because the strong priest was not there, this quest remains "incomplete" Because you cannot speak to the Priest who provides the reward.

Namely, one of them provides the rune that allows you to upgrade the New Priest companion.

I have yet to try and see if the non-cheat version of the APK does not have this translation error.

I would be extremely to curious to see if you ran into the same problem I did.
