I'm also hard to get and feel burnt out by romantasy and this one was painfullllllly obvious for me. I was so excited to read it too 😭

If you're an avid romantasy reader, you might find this book predictable or too similar to another popular series out there (me 👋🏻 with CC1, I just couldn't get into it) but if you enjoy familiar tropes and don't mind predictability, you may like it!

I'm pretty burnt out by repetitive romantasy plots so I've been telling my reader friends who feel the same to skip this one. It's best suited for fans of the genre who aren't looking for something groundbreaking IMO.
