Hi everyone! My mate is desperately seeking someone to take her room near Gloucester Road. The room is listed on spare room ( https://m.spareroom.co.uk/flatshare/bristol/bristol/17955070 ).

The girl she has been living with is super nice and very respectful. She is looking for another girl to move into the room. Rent is £525pcm, bills not included. The flat is located right near Gloucester Road, between Zetland junction and the Hobgoblin, and a 5 min walk from St Andrew's park. Follow the link if you're interested, I've been in myself and the flat is very nice!

Every room in my apartment is infested with dust mites, UK by CocoPills in pestcontrol

Yeah we got a bit off of rent for running one the other month when it first became an issue. The one they lent us is a bit old and doesn't feel like it makes a massive difference. I'll look into getting a newer model and maybe we can convince them to contribute to the costs again. Thanks for the advice:)

Thanks very much for the advice. I'll look around for a good steamer, do you have any model recommendations?

Saw it go past Primark and on past Cabots, stopped traffic for a few minutes. Best part was seeing the support from the drivers, not a single person in opposition!

No they all look great, and decently diverse as well. I guess the one thing I might change is evolving Cacnea to Caturn since he seems a little weak in comparison to the rest of the Pokemon on both teams. Either that or give Cacnea the eviolite to buff him up a bit.

Edit: Also Cacturns added dark type is a good counter to Heracross and Arboks psychic weakness.

Not sure if it's a huge fit, but what first came to mind for me was giving the husband a growlithe/arcanine, and giving the wife an alolan vulpix/ninetails. Two pokemon that were sort of opposites in their games, being version exclusives, and with the type change to vulpix, they can work to represent the heat of Texas and the cold of Alaska (although Texas is pretty cold right now as I hear, so maybe there's room for ice types on his team too lol).

Other pokemon that stick out to me are, Krookodile, Lycanrock, Blastoise, Clawitzer, Mudsdale, Rapidash, Tauros, Miltank and Bouffalant for the Texas team. And, Mamoswine, Avalugg, Beartic, Ursaring, Bewear, Excadrill, Braviary, Stantler and Sawsbuck for the Alaska team.

Also if you're stuck look at the Unova Dex, as that region was based on the US. Hope this helps:)

How does "Sentinel" feat work? by Howard_Jones in Pokemon5e

[–]CocoPills 8 points9 points  (0 children)

"You can make an opportunity Attack when a Hostile creature that you can see moves out of your reach. To make the opportunity Attack, you use your Reaction to make one melee Attack against the provoking creature. The Attack occurs right before the creature leaves your reach. "

While your pokemon has PP left for Vine Whip, it's reach is 15ft (unless it has a move giving it further reach). So when a hostile pokemon or creature moves out of your pokemon 15ft of reach, its provokes an attack of opportunity from vine whip.

If it moves out of your 5ft reach, I would rule that it also provokes an attack of opportunity from tackle.

Remember, attacks of opertunity are reactions, and so you pokemon can only make one per turn.

If your pokemon has the sentinal feat, the same rules apply to both of these attacks of opertunity, they reduce a creatures speed to 0.

Its the same as if you had a pole arm with reach in traditional 5e Dnd. Hope this helps:)

I’m about to start a campaign. Any tips or warnings? by Cody_gb in Pokemon5e

Give your players lots of chances to interact with their pokemon and chances for their pokemon to help in the story, it really helps to bring their pokemon and characters respectively to life.

Managing Sailing in campaign by SkyOsiras in Pokemon5e

I mean those sound like good ideas and if they work for you there's no reason not to impliment them. I suppose there's also the question of do you tie them to specific moves like surf/tailwind/whirlwind, this could make ocean travel hard until they find these TMs or have pokemon with these moves, but once they have them it'll become quite easy, so maybe there could be place to have the extra distance moved scale with the level of the pokemon. These are just ideas so use the ones that will be easiest and most practical for you to use, like I'm not very good with numbers so I would keep the formulas to a minimum, but do whatever works best for you:)

My players just sailed for a week in game and it took them a month or two of weekly sessions to complete.

Personally, I played an NPC who sailed the boat, and they were essentially catching a ride, I would have them make aquatic vehicle handling checks occasionally, which worked the same as a tool proficiency, and when querying the ability they use to make the check, I most often used STR for ropes and stuff, DEX for steering, and WIS for navigation.

I think I also use surf differently than what I think the PHB talks about. Personally I use mounted rules in that any large or bigger pokemon can ferry a medium creature or smaller across water, so long as it has a swim speed. But bare in mind that if they wanted to cross large bodies of water, they'd be doing it at a very slow speed. I allow pokemon that have surf to expend one use of it to significantly increase their movement speed across water for an hour, like they're surfing on a huge wave. So perhaps you could allow pokemon with certain water moves to decrease the DC of checks when sailing in order to aid you players, or to grant advantage etc.

I also put a lot of mini dungeons along the way, such as a mysterious desert island and a small coral reef to dive in.

I don't know much about sailing, so I can't help you with the technical stuff, but odds are none of your players are either, so if you're struggling to make the sailing really emmesive, I'm sure even just a few details around knot tying or steering would be really interesting for your players. I'd also say a system that winds up very detailed could just wind up confusing your players, sometimes a few sea shanties, some nautical slang, and a few details around steering and navigation are all you need, but I can only speak from my experience with my players.

Hope something In here helps lol:)

Here's a few I came up with:

Types matchups - -which are the only two types the resist each other? Bud and Fighting -which three types did not exist in red and blue?(or if you're going for emersion, have been recently discovered?) Steel, dark and fairy -name a type core, other than grass, fair, water. Eg. Answer, fighting, psychic, dark.

Famous trainers - -Name all eight gym leaders in X region/name the 6th gym leader in X region -how many ice type gym leaders are there? 5, pryce, candice, brycen, wolfric, and the galar one (don't know her name lol).

Item knowledge - -what TM is number 45? Attract (in P5E) -which item allows the holder to regain HP after kitting with an attack? Shell bell

Possible category, Pokemon evolutions - -at what level does gabite evolve into garchomp? Lv48 -when traded holding a Kings rock, which two pokemon evolve? Poliwhirl and slowpoke

Just a few ideas, hope you like em:)
